WHCD Shooting Suspect Charged With Attempted Assassination of Trump
Cole Tomas Allen, the suspect arrested following a shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, was charged Monday with attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump, according to AP and other media reports.
Cole Tomas Allen, a 31-year-old teacher from Torrance, was taken into custody following the shooting Saturday night and charged in federal court in Washington Monday morning.
Allen faces three criminal charges, including an attempt to assassinate President Trump, which is punishable with life in prison.
