The 157th issue of Kadokawa‘s Dengeki Daioh G magazine launched Mozukuzu‘s new Kemomimi Miko no Isekai Jinja Saikō-ki: Kami-sama ga Kureta Kiseki no Chikara no sei de Matsurare Sugite Komattemasu (The story of a shrine maiden with animal ears reviving a shrine in another world: I’m Troubled by Being Worshipped Too Much Because of the Miraculous Power a God Gave Me) manga on Monday. The manga is an adaptation of writer Mizuho Itsuki (Management of a Novice Alchemist (light novel) and illustrator risumi’s novel of the same title.

The story centers on high school girl Suzuka Mimori, who works as a shrine maiden at her family’s shrine. One day, she gets caught up in a mysterious vortex and is transported to another world. There, she receives a letter from the enshrined deity. The god, who was once worshipped as a divine beast but is now forgotten, wants Suzuka to serve as a shrine maiden and gather worshippers again. For Suzuka to do that, the god gives her a mysterious power that lets her perform “miracles,” plus fox ears and a tail (based on the god’s preference?).

Kadokawa published the original novel in September 2024.

Mozukuzu launched the manga adaptation of Ryūichi Suzuki‘s Dungeon Farm: Kicked Out of My Home, So I’m Homesteading in a Dungeon! light novel series in Square Enix‘s Gangan Online website in August 2023. The manga ended with its fourth compiled book volume that shipped in October 2025. Square Enix‘s Manga UP! Global service published the manga in English digitally.

Manga creator Katsuwo launched a manga adaptation of Renren Ii’s Ōja no Ban Kuruwase: Net Shōgi no Teiō, Real Taikai de Chōjō o Mezasu (Underdog Upsets the King) light novels in the November issue of Kadokawa‘s Dengeki Daioh G on Monday. The issue’s front cover will also feature the manga.

The story centers on Mikado Watanabe, an introverted high school student who maintains a double identity online as the so-called “King of Self-Destruction,” a high level online shōgi player who makes even pro players shudder. Mikado joins his high school’s shōgi club after a series of strange events, enter the amateur shōgi tournament Kōryūsen, and begins his rise in the game outside of the Internet, alongside his fellow club members.

Renren Ii launched the originals story’s serialization in Kadokawa‘s Kakuyomu website in December 2023, and the story is ongoing. Kadokawa published the story’s first print volume on March 21, with illustrations by Fujiko. The third volume shipped on August 24, and the fourth volume will ship on November 20.

Katsuwo launched the #Zombie Sagashitemasu (#ImLookingForZombies) manga in Kadokawa‘s Comic Dengeki DaiohG magazine in June 2022. Kadokawa published the third and final compiled book volume in January 2024. Yen Press licensed the manga. The manga is getting a television anime that will debut on October 3. Crunchyroll will stream the anime.

Katsuwo‘s Mitsuboshi Colors manga inspired the television anime of the same name, which premiered in January 2018. Sentai Filmworks streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. 

Katsuwo launched the Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu (Solitary “__” Life, or Hitori Bocchi’s “__” Life) manga in the inaugural issue Comic Dengeki DaiohG in September 2013, and ended it in April 2021. Kadokawa published the manga’s eighth and final volume in June 2021. The manga inspired a television anime adaptation in April 2019. Crunchyroll streamed the anime.
