Amazon is listing the third compiled book volume of Komugi Awaya‘s The Banished Saint’s Pilgrimage: From Dying to Thriving (Yomei Wazuka Dakara to Tsuihō Sareta Seijo Desu ga, Junrei no Tabi ni Detara Chō Kenkō ni Narimashita) manga as the final volume, which will ship on August 10.

Square Enix‘s Manga UP! Global service publishes the manga in English and describes the story:

Princess Platina, a devoted saint to her kingdom despite enduring cruel mistreatment, receives devastating news—she doesn’t have long to live. Her stepsister seals her fate by ordering her on a harsh pilgrimage to the Holy Land, effectively banishing her from the royal castle. Eisen, a captive knight, is forced to accompany her as both attendant and witness to her death. What will become of their lives on this journey…?

The manga is an adaptation of Machibari‘s light novel series of the same title. Machibari launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2022, and ended it in February 2025. Earth Star Entertainment published three volumes of the novels with illustration by Yura Chūjō.

Awaya launched the manga adaptation on Square Enix‘s Gangan Online manga website in September 2023. Square Enix published the manga’s second volume in February 2025.

‘Shuumatsu no Walküre’ Gets Fourth Season

Production company Warner Bros. Japan announced a fourth season for the Shuumatsu no Walküre (Record of Ragnarok) anime series on Friday, revealing a special announcement promotional video, and a commemorative illustration (pictured) by the manga’s illustrator Ajichika.

The first season, produced by Graphinica, debuted worldwide on Netflix in 12 episodes in June 2021. The 15-episode second season, co-produced by Graphinica and Yumeta Company, streamed on Netflix in two parts in January and July 2023. The 15-episode third season, produced by Yumeta Company and Maru Animation, streamed on Netflix in December 2025.

Shuumatsu no Walküre adapts Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and illustrator Ajichika’s dark fantasy battle action manga, which began in Monthly Comic Zenon in November 2017. Coamix published the 27th volume on March 19, with the 28th volume set for a July 17 release. The manga has a cumulative 18 million copies of its volumes in print.

VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in June 2021 and released the 18th volume on April 21. The 19th volume is planned for a July 21 release. The company also licensed the first anime season in North America and released it on home video in April 2023.

‘Kanojo, Okarishimasu’ Sixth Season Announced

The official website of the Kanojo, Okarishimasu (Rent-a-Girlfriend) television anime announced a sixth season on Saturday. The character designer, Kanna Hirayama, drew an illustration to commemorate the announcement (pictured above).

Produced by TMS Entertainment, the 12-episode first season aired in Summer 2020, followed by the second and third season in Summer 2022 and Summer 2023. The fourth season aired in Summer 2026, while the fifth and latest season premiered on April 11 and concluded with its 12th episode on Saturday. Crunchyroll simulcasted all seasons with multiple subtitles and dubs.

Kanojo, Okarishimasu, also known as KanoKari, adapts Reiji Miyajima‘s romantic comedy manga, which began serializing in Weekly Shounen Magazine in July 2017. Kodansha published the 46th volume on June 17.

Miyajima began drawing the Kanojo, Hitomishirimasu (Rent-A-(Really Shy!)-Girlfriend) spin-off manga on the Magazine pocket app in June 2020. The third volume was released in May 2022.

Kodansha USA licensed both the original and spin-off manga in July 2019 and March 2021, respectively. The 36th volume went on sale on April 28, with the 37th volume scheduled for a June 30 release. The third spin-off volume was released in November 2022.

Record of Ragnarok Anime Gets 4th Season – News

Warner Bros. Japan announced on Friday that the anime based on Shinya Umemura, Azychika, and Takumi Fukui‘s Record of Ragnarok (Shūmatsu no Walküre) manga will get a fourth season titled Record of Ragnarok IV. The company streamed a trailer and unveiled the logo:

Record of Ragnarok III, the anime’s third season, premiered on Netflix in December 2025. The season then debuted on television with its first three episodes on April 3 on Tokyo MX and BS11.

Warner Bros. Japan describes the third season:

The saga continues with 13 one-on-one battles for the survival of humanity, pitting gods against humansfrom across the world. Witness the fateful seventh battle: the final fight to break the 3-3 tie between thegods and humans. Blood flows and fists fly in these intense battles of strong convictions!

The first season of the television anime debuted on Netflix in June 2021. Record of Ragnarok II — the second season of the anime — debuted its first part on Netflix in January 2023. The anime’s second part (episodes 11-15) debuted on Netflix in July 2023.

Viz Media is releasing the series digitally and in print in English. Mangamo first announced its license of Record of Ragnarok in March 2022.

The manga launched in Comic Zenon magazine in November 2017. Umemura is writing the story, while Azychika is drawing the art. Fukui is storyboarding the work.

The manga has several spinoffs including Shūmatsu no Walküre Kitan: Jack the Ripper no Jikenbo (Record of Ragnarok Mystery – The Case Files of Jack the Ripper), Ryo Fu Hō Sen Hishōden (The Legend of Lu Bu Fengxiang The Flying General), and the Shūmatsu no Walküre Kinden: Kamigami no Apocalypse (Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Tale: Apocalypse of the Gods) manga that launched in June 2024.

A battle role-playing smartphone game titled Record of Ragnarok: The Day of Judgment launched in April 2025.
