Seth Rogen Shoos Set Crash Streamer: ‘Don’t Fuck With People’
Seth Rogen had a brief, reluctant interview with a streamer after the YouTuber’s production crew ran up to “The Studio” star while filming in Los Angeles.
Rogen, along with his regular comedy co-star Jonah Hill, both feature in Twitch streamer Yung Mooch’s video “Los Angeles is Falling Apart…,” posted to YouTube on July 24. Yung Mooch, who has garnered more than 558,000 subscribes on YouTube and 14,800 follows on Twitch, interviews people across various Los Angeles neighborhoods in the video. During a segment filmed in Venice Beach, Yung Mooch runs up to Rogen and Hill, who both appear visibly irked as the streamer crashes their set.
“No, we’re working,” Rogen is heard saying as Yung Mooch approaches Hill and goes in for a fistbump.
“Any advice you got to anybody trying to make it in L.A.?” the streamer asks Hill. The actor shrugs before responding, “Enjoy your life. Be a kind person.”
Yung Mooch then turns to Rogen with an, “Oh shit! How you doing?” before also asking him to give advice as the actors says, “Please just give us a little space.”
“I would say don’t fuck with people as they’re trying to make their show. That’s probably not a good idea,” Rogen says with a smile, before laughing and beginning to gesture in a go-away motion. “That’s the best advice I could give you.”
Yung Mooch continues to press Rogen for “one advice, please one advice, one advice, one advice, just one advice.” After muttering “please” and shrugging, Rogen says “Be yourself” and turns to Hill laughing.
“Look at this y’all. We just caught a major movie production. This is Los Angeles right here,” Yung Mooch says, walking past the production crew.
Representatives for Yung Mooch and Rogen did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
When photographs of Rogen and Hill filming together emerged earlier this month, it was roundly speculated that the two were filming scenes for “The Studio.” The Apple TV series has recently started Los Angeles production for Season 2. However, Hill’s casting has not been officially confirmed.

‘Carrie’ Trailer: Mike Flanagan Remake Sets October Premiere Date
We now know when “Carrie” is dropping.
During the San Diego Comic-Con panel for Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Stephen King’s first novel, fans finally got the official release date.
“Carrie” is going to premiere Oct. 7 on Prime Video. The modern retelling of the classic horror story also revealed its first trailer.
Watch that first trailer from Prime Video below:
The series stars Summer H. Howell as Carrie White and longtime Flanagan collaborator Samantha Sloyan as Carrie’s mother Margaret. They are joined by Siena Agudong (“Resident Evil”) as Sue Snell, Alison Thornton (“Fire Country”) as Chris Hargensen, Joel Oulette (“My Life with the Walter Boys”) as Tommy Ross, Josie Tota (“The Buccaneers”) as Tina, Arthur Conti (“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”) as Billy, Thalia Dudek (“The Running Man”) as Emaline, Amber Midthunder (“Prey”) as Miss Desjardin and Matthew Lillard (“Man of Tomorrow”) as Principal Grayle.
“Carrie” has been adapted more than a few times in the past but this marks the first TV adaptation of the story. Brian De Palma first took a stab at the story in 1976 with star Sissy Spacek in her now-iconic and Oscar-nominated performance. It was later made again into a film in 2013 and starred Chloë Grace Moretz as the titular character.
Flanagan – who has adapted his fair share of King’s work – is creating a modern retelling of the story and with the added length able to explore more of the side characters from the book. Here’s the official synopsis of the show:
“Misfit high‑schooler Carrie White (Howell) has spent her life hidden away inside the walls of her home with her fiercely protective mother, Margaret (Sloyan). After her father’s sudden, untimely death thrusts her into the unforgiving ecosystem of public high school, Carrie is forced to navigate a viral bullying scandal that tears through her community, the relentless pressure and casual cruelty of the social‑media age, and the awakening of mysterious telekinetic powers that rise alongside her adolescence.”
The series is written and executive produced by showrunner Flanagan, who also directed four episodes, and King serves as an executive producer.

Matchbox the Movie Trailer: John Cena, Jessica Biel Star in Apple Film
John Cena is revving up the action with the trailer for Matchbox the Movie.
Apple TV debuted the first footage from filmmaker Sam Hargrave‘s feature during the streamer’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. Jessica Biel, Arturo Castro, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris, Danai Gurira, Golshifteh Farahani, Corey Stoll and Bill Camp also star in the movie that begins streaming on Oct. 9.
Inspired by Mattel‘s line of toy cars, Matchbox the Movie centers on a group of longtime friends who discover that their leader, Sean (Cena), is an undercover CIA agent. Soon, Sean’s complicated life has thrust them into a globe-trotting adventure to save the world.
“It’s been a long since we played Matchbox cars together,” Biel says wistfully in the trailer.
Later, Cena realizes that he and his pals appear to be in hot water. “A nuclear warhead went missing,” he says. “The CIA thinks it was me — or us.”
Eventually, Biel comes up with a solution that is not exactly simple: “We need to re-steal the bomb so we can get our lives back.”
Hargrave (Extraction and its sequels) helmed the film from a script by David Coggeshall. Producers include David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger for Skydance, alongside Robbie Brenner and Ynon Kreiz for Mattel Studios. Jules Daly also produces, while Patrick Newall and Elizabeth Bassin serve as executive producers.
Cena can soon be seen in Coyote vs. Acme, which hits theaters next month, and will star opposite Jennifer Garner in Netflix’s forthcoming comedy One Attempt Remaining.

Tom Holland Admits He’s Promoted ‘Shit’ Films ‘You Shouldn’t See’
Tom Holland says that his promotional tours for “The Odyssey” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” have been “really easy” compared to previous junkets in his career, when he felt he was promoting a movie people shouldn’t bother with “because it’s shit.”
Speaking with the podcast Dish in an episode published on July 22, Holland opened up about his “busy” year promoting two summer blockbusters. The star has been on a weekslong promotional push for both “The Odyssey,” now playing in theaters, and his Marvel return “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” which opens two weeks later.
“I’m absolutely loving it. When you’re doing press for movies you’re really proud of, it’s really easy. Because when they ask you questions about why should people go and watch this movie, you’re not lying to anyone. You really think people should go see it,” Holland said. “I’ve had experiences before when people say, ‘Why should you see this movie?’ And in the back of your mind, you’re like, ‘You shouldn’t, because it’s shit.’”
“It’s felt really like a bit of a victory lap to be honest,” Holland continued. “I’ve really enjoyed it. I’m super proud of both of the films.”
Audiences and critics both agree with Holland on “The Odyssey.” Christopher Nolan’s ambitiously mounted adaptation of Homer’s epic is on pace to be one of the year’s highest-grossing films, looking to surge past a $500 million global total in only its second weekend of release. Reviews have been ecstatic, with the industry already abuzz about the film’s awards future.
While “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has not screened for critics yet, all three of Holland’s prior installments drew positive reviews. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has seen recent entries disappoint both critically and commercially, but Holland’s tenure as the friendly neighborhood webslinger is largely seen as a crown jewel for the franchise. Sony Pictures will have high box office expectations for “Brand New Day” when it releases July 31.
