EXCLUSIVE: Corey Bonalewicz, the comedian and culinary content creator better known as Corey B, will tape his debut comedy special at Piper Repertory Theater in Mesa, Arizona on October 17, as part of his newly expanded Out of the Kitchen tour.

Mike Lavin will direct, with 3 Nuts Studios producing, and Adam Gold and Dylan Silverstein of AGI Entertainment Media and Management exec producing.

Corey told us, “This is a chance for my fans who haven’t been to a show yet to see a whole new side of me. Out of the kitchen and on to the stage! It’s translated so well over the last couple of years and now I’m ready to make it accessible to everyone. This will be the first of many, and I can’t wait for you to see this debut!”

A Tampa, Florida native, Corey B spent more than 10 years as a radio DJ and on-air personality in markets including New Orleans, Chicago and New York City before finding success as a viral content creator, building a fan base of more than 26 million. His content blends high-energy, unfiltered reactions to chaotic internet food hacks with relatable everyday sketches that often spotlight his family life.

Since launching his Out of the Kitchen tour last year, Corey has sold more than 40,000 tickets at clubs and theaters across the United States. Upcoming dates include stops in Charlotte, Buffalo, St. Louis, Cleveland, Omaha, Des Moines, Grand Rapids, Mesa and Dayton.

Beyond his work on stage and screen, Corey has leveraged his culinary following into co-ownership of the New York-based Bang Cookies and Bill’s Supper Club, while also launching his own barbecue sauce line, Oh Baby Sauce. He is slated to release his first cookbook within the coming year.

Nicolas Cage is ready to let the games begin as John Madden in director David O. Russell’s forthcoming biopic about the NFL legend.

Amazon MGM Studios announced Thursday that its film Madden will begin streaming worldwide via Prime Video on Nov. 18. Christian Bale co-stars as Raiders owner Al Davis, while Kathryn Hahn, Sienna Miller, John Mulaney and Shane Gillis round out the cast.

Madden tells the story of the beloved icon whose legacy continues through his titular NFL video game, Madden NFL. The film centers on Madden (Cage) as he coaches the Raiders to a Super Bowl win alongside best friend Davis (Bale) before becoming one of football’s most popular broadcasters.

“Accepting the role to play this larger-than-life legend has been a highlight for me,” Cage says in a promotional video released Thursday. “John Madden didn’t just coach football. He changed the game.”

The Oscar-winning actor continues, “His humanity was present in everything he did, including his unwavering love of family and his lifelong partnership with best friend Al Davis.” Cage adds, “John’s passion, joy and the impact he had through his zest for life and humanity were immense.”

Among the video’s snippets from the movie include Bale saying as Davis, “There’s only one John Madden. They didn’t make another one.”

Russell, who is known for such films as The Fighter and American Hustle, helmed Madden from a script he co-wrote with Cambron Clark. Russell produces alongside Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Jonathan Shukat, Matthew Budman and Colin Wilson.

Jean Lodge, a British actress who appeared with Alan Ladd in the 1954 medieval adventure film The Black Knight, has died. She was 99.

Lodge died Wednesday, one day after her birthday, her granddaughter Amy Shaughnessy announced.

Survivors include her sons, Charles Shaughnessy, known for his turns as Maxwell Sheffield on The Nanny and Shane Donovan on Days of Our Lives, and David Shaughnessy, a producer on The Young and the Restless and a director on The Bold and The Beautiful.

Her husband was two-time Emmy-nominated screenwriter Alfred Shaughnessy, who developed and served as head writer and producer on the acclaimed 1971-75 ITV series Upstairs, Downstairs. They were married from 1948 until his death in 2005.

Jean Margaret Lodge was born on Aug. 4, 1927, in Hull, Yorkshire, England. She started out on the stage at the Windsor Repertory Company and in 1949 appeared in her first two films, Dick Barton Strikes Back and Dr. Morelle: The Case of the Missing Heiress.

She played Queen Guinevere, wife of King Arthur, in The Black Knight, also featuring Peter Cushing. Earlier, she co-starred with Kenneth More in the comedy Brandy for the Parson (1952).

Her credits included the films White Corridors (1951), Final Appointment (1954), Accidental Death (1963), The Eyes of Annie Jones (1963) and Invasion (1966).

“My grandmother was a beautiful, talented, complicated, passionate, emotional, energetic woman who was always on the move and full of life,” Amy Shaughnessy wrote.

“The perfect hostess, Jean enjoyed parties, friends, socializing, the theatre, feeding the ducks, museums, gardening, music, culture, long walks in nature, animals, painting (she was amazing!), cooking, art, traveling … the list goes on.”

She also is survived by granddaughters Jenny, Katie, Maddy and Josie and great-grandsons Julian and Noa.
