‘Hell Mode Season 2’ Reveals Additional Cast for Rosenheim Arc
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hamuo‘s Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou suru (Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing) light novel revealed additional cast and new visual (pictured right) for the second season on Wednesday. The anime series premiered on July 4 at 1.00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by MBS, AT-X and BS Nippon Television.

Kyubel: Shoutarou Morikubo (Fate/strange Fake)
Masato Tamagawa (Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu) is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab, with Daishirou Tanimura (Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers) handling the series composition. Kei Tsushima (Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These) is designing the characters.
Misaki Tsuchida (The New Gate), Moyu Kanazaki, Junko Nakajima (Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu.), Kanade Sakuma (Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita), Reiko Abe (Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan), Kaho Sawada (Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai), Beau Damian (Ore wa Subete wo “Parry” suru), Tsugumi Tanaka (Rock wa Lady no Tashinami deshite), Shuichiro Fukuhiro (The Fable), and Shin Miki are composing the music.
Produced by Yokohama Animation Lab, the first season aired in 12 episodes in Winter 2026. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime, with HIDIVE simulcasting the series with multiple subtitles.
Hamuo began writing the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2019. Earth Star Entertainment acquired the novel under its Earth Star Novel imprint in July 2020, featuring illustrations by Mo. The 14th volume went on sale on July 15.
Enji Tetta began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth☆Star web magazine in October 2020. The 14th volume was released on July 10.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga for digital release in English in July 2021 and July 2023, respectively. The 12th light novel volume went on sale on August 5. The tenth manga volume was released on April 29, and the 11th volume is scheduled for release on September 2.
