Cygames Announces Where the Seeds Fall Game From Newly Established Label CygamesEdge – News

Cygames announced a new label on Thursday CygamesEdge for small and mid-sized teams. CygamesEdge unveiled during Sony‘s State of Play livestream on Thursday its debut game Where the Seeds Fall from ZEREO. The company later revealed that the game will launch for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam on November 5.

The company describes the action-adventure game:

The earth has been afflicted with Blight, forcing humanity to build new homes upon the branches of the World Tree.

It is a place fraught with peril, and in their fear, humanity has branded “Fell Children” as omens of disaster. After encountering a Fell Child, however, one soldier goes against orders and determines to escort them to the surface world.

Descend the World Tree by navigating ruins, reading the wind, and taking leaps of faith in this thrilling action-adventure game.

Media advertising company CyberAgent established Cygames in 2011, and the company has produced games such as Uma Musume Pretty Derby, Rage of Bahamut, and Granblue Fantasy. Cygames established an anime division in March 2015 and the anime production subsidiary Cygames Pictures in April 2016. The company has worked on anime productions inspired by its games including Uma Musume Pretty Derby, Rage of Bahamut Genesis, Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul, and Granblue Fantasy the Animation.
