‘Hell Mode’ Third Season in Production
Produced by Yokohama Animation Lab, the first season aired in 12 episodes in Winter 2026. The second season premiered on July 4. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime, with HIDIVE simulcasting the series with multiple subtitles.
The anime series adapts Hamuo‘s adventure fantasy light novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2019. Earth Star Entertainment acquired the novel under its Earth Star Novel imprint in July 2020, featuring illustrations by Mo. The 14th volume went on sale on July 15.
Enji Tetta began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth☆Star web magazine in October 2020. The 14th volume was released on July 10.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga in English in July 2021 and July 2023, respectively. The 12th light novel volume went on sale on August 5. The 11th manga volume was released on September 2.
