It has been more than five years since Kalisto last wrestled under the WWE banner, but the high-flying luchador is not ready to say never about a return. Speaking to TMZ’s Inside the Ring, the former champion was asked point-blank whether he still has unfinished business with WWE — and he left the door firmly open.

Rather than shutting down the idea, Kalisto admitted that a WWE comeback has genuinely crossed his mind. His answer, however, came with an honest caveat: everything depends on how his body — and specifically his knee — holds up in the months ahead.
“Let Me See Where My Knee Takes Me”
Kalisto explained that he listens to his body closely and is taking things one step at a time, weighing his ongoing projects against any wrestling future. For now, he is keeping his options open, waiting to see how his knee responds before making any major decisions about what comes next in his career.
The former Lucha Dragons star made one thing clear: retirement is not in his mindset. He described himself as someone who never gives up and keeps pushing no matter the obstacle, making it obvious that whatever chapter comes next will be written on his own terms.
Coaching Could Be Part of the Future
Alongside any thoughts of a return, Kalisto revealed a growing passion for giving back to the business. He said he would love to get into coaching — not just locally but around the world — because teaching the next generation of wrestlers is something he genuinely looks forward to. Giving back, he added, is what makes him feel grateful.
Nothing is official, and no comeback date is being teased. But more than half a decade after his WWE release, Kalisto’s refusal to close the book entirely is sure to excite fans who remember the jaw-dropping aerial offense that made him one of the most electrifying cruiserweights of his era. Whether it is one more run in a WWE ring or a future spent mentoring others, the luchador is not done with wrestling yet.
