Netflix has been caught sanitizing WWE history again. The streaming giant has edited LA Knight flipping the middle finger at Roman Reigns out of its replay of the WWE Money In The Bank 2026 premium live event — cutting away to a different camera angle so viewers never see the gesture.

The moment happened early in the WWE World Championship clash between Knight and Reigns. As the pair traded their usual jaw-jacking, Reigns threw his “ones” up into the air — and Knight mocked him from behind. When Reigns turned around, Knight planted a middle finger directly in the OTC’s face.
The Edit
In the Netflix replay, that moment simply doesn’t exist in its original form. The shot now cuts to a camera angle from behind Reigns, with Knight completely blocked from view — a seamless little bit of revisionism that erases one of the match’s most talked-about spots.
Fans caught the switch and have been sharing side-by-side comparisons online, noting how cleanly the streaming edit removed the gesture from the record.
Not The First Time
This is becoming a pattern for the streaming platform. Netflix recently edited out Jaida Parker running over Jacob Fatu on an episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, proving the company is willing to reshape WWE content for its library — whether to smooth over controversial moments or keep things family-friendly.
The edits raise an ongoing debate among wrestling fans: WWE’s Netflix era comes with a bigger global audience, but also a quieter kind of censorship. Live viewers saw the middle finger; replay viewers get the sanitized version.
Love it or hate it, Netflix is now officially in the business of rewriting WWE moments — one camera angle at a time.
