NOEL vocalist Kang Kyun Sung is setting the record straight. After his wedding announcement to actress Yoo Ha Jin sparked whispers of a premarital pregnancy, the singer has firmly denied the rumors — revealing that he and his fiancée have kept premarital virginity and are saving everything for marriage.

Kang Kyun Sung announced his marriage to Yoo Ha Jin earlier, after the two met in February and dated for eight months. Because the couple set their wedding date quickly, some speculated that a shotgun wedding was behind the rush.
The Radio Star Confession
Appearing on MBC’s Radio Star on October 14th in a clip titled “Virgin Kang Kyun Sung, Unsealing with Marriage(?),” the singer addressed the misunderstanding head-on while the studio erupted in congratulations.
He stated plainly that the couple have not slept together: “We haven’t made love with each other. We have no experience,” adding that they simply think alike, which led them to the same choice. The candid admission left the studio surprised.
“A True Honeymoon”
Kang Kyun Sung also opened up about his past, admitting with an embarrassed bow that he had once taken a virginity vow but hadn’t kept it of his own will. Meeting the woman he wants to marry changed that, he said — he felt he should keep premarital purity with her.
“It’s a true honeymoon,” he laughed, explaining that nowadays many couples experience everything before marriage, which can make the wedding night feel less special. For them, he said, the anticipation is high.
He joked that Yoo Ha Jin, who is 14 years younger than him, once worried he might have some kind of issue — and that he now has to “prove it quickly.” He also described his bride-to-be as someone he can grow with, saying she “makes me let go of myself.”
The wedding is set for October 30 at a location in Seoul, and the singer’s frank, funny answers have fans wishing the couple a genuinely sweet — and truly awaited — honeymoon.
