Donovan Dijak Says His 6-Year-Old Daughter Will Be ‘a 10-Year Vet at 16’ as Wrestling Training Continues

Donovan Dijak has opened up about his young daughter’s professional wrestling training, revealing the six-year-old trains with him every single week — and declaring she could be “a 10-year vet at 16” if she sticks with it. The veteran spoke in a new interview following a recent GCW spot that featured his daughter in her in-ring debut.

The GCW Spot

Speaking to Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds, Dijak detailed how the moment came together. His daughter — who, he stressed, he never bumps or puts in harm’s way — was brought into a spot where she was dragged by the hair and nearly skewered by “this crazy-looking dude.” Naturally hesitant at first, she ultimately wanted to do it, and Dijak’s son even joined in, making it an unforgettable family moment.

“For the record, for those who are unaware, my daughter has been training with me in professional wrestling,” Dijak explained. “I don’t bump her or anything, but I bring her to pro wrestling training, and we run drills, and we run exercises and things like that.”

Training Every Week

What sets his daughter apart, Dijak says, is consistency. While many wrestlers claim they started young, he argues his daughter’s case is the real deal: “My daughter’s training every single week with me. She comes every single week with me to training. We run matches.” Since her debut spot, she has already had several more in-ring participation moments — and there will only be more to come.

Dijak is just as proud of his son, who is passionate about aerospace engineering and dreams of becoming an astronaut — a path his father believes he will succeed at “at an unbelievable level.” As for his daughter’s future in the squared circle, Dijak has no doubt: “She has all the tools and all the gifts in the world to be the greatest professional wrestler in the history of the world. If she so chooses.”
