Mobile Suit fans, take note. Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially announced Gundam Blitz Order, a brand-new mobile game that breaks fresh ground for the franchise — it is the first-ever idle game in Gundam’s long gaming history.

Described as an RPG-style idle simulation, the game lets players collect and power up mobile suit units, Mobile Armors and warships from across the entire Gundam universe, then build strategic formations tailored to each unit’s unique battle style. Upgrade materials are gathered automatically, so progression keeps moving even when you are not actively grinding.
Network Test Dates Confirmed
Bandai Namco is wasting no time. The company is already accepting applications for a network test scheduled for November 18-24, and it has opened an English website and X/Twitter account for the game — a strong sign of a global launch strategy rather than a Japan-only soft rollout.
Why Idle Is a Big Swing for Gundam
The idle genre is one of mobile gaming’s biggest growth engines, and Bandai Namco says this is a deliberate new challenge for the series. By lowering the burden of play while keeping the collection and team-building depth Gundam games are known for, Blitz Order could pull in casual fans who bounced off heavier strategy titles. For newcomers to the idle genre, the auto-collect mechanics make it the most approachable Gundam game in years.
With the network test just a month away, expect gameplay footage and the full roster reveal soon.
