Second-generation K-pop is officially back. BESTie is reuniting after 11 years, with all four members — Hyeyeon, Yuji, Dahye, and Haeryung — sharing a video together on October 16 alongside the caption, “BESTie is reuniting! Please show lots of interest and support.” The announcement has sent longtime fans into overdrive.

A Legendary Girl Group Returns
BESTie first debuted in 2013 with the single “Pitapat,” and their final album dropped in 2015 before the group quietly went their separate ways. Over a decade later, each member has carved out her own path: Hyeyeon reinvented herself as a successful trot singer, Yuji built a strong career as a musical actress, Dahye appeared on “EXchange 3” and has been active as an influencer and solo artist, while Haeryung transitioned into acting.
Perfect Timing for a Comeback
The reunion comes at a perfect moment. BESTie’s 2013 track “Love Options” has been climbing Korean charts again after going viral on social media, proving that the group’s music never really left. It’s the latest wave of second-gen nostalgia sweeping K-pop, and BESTie is riding it straight into a comeback.
What form the reunion will take — a new single, a fan meeting, or something bigger — remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: after 11 years apart, BESTie is ready to make their mark again.
