Killer Kross vs. Josh Bishop Set for Last Man Standing MLW Title Match at Saturday Night SuperFight

The grudge is going nuclear. Major League Wrestling has announced that Killer Kross will defend the MLW World Heavyweight Title against Josh Bishop in a Last Man Standing match at Saturday Night SuperFight on November 7, live from the sold-out Cicero Stadium in Chicago.

The stipulation could not be more fitting. Their first world title encounter was a No Holds Barred war that ended with Bishop bloodied, the ring stripped to its boards, and Kross choking the challenger unconscious with the Kross Jacket. But Bishop — dubbed the “Intense Icon” — emerged from the wreckage more determined than ever.

The Pin That Changed Everything

Then came the moment nobody in MLW had ever seen: in a New York City Street Fight, where Bishop teamed with Donovan Dijak against Kross and Matt Riddle, Bishop absorbed the champion’s Diamond Cutter, fired back with Exit 187, and pinned Killer Kross. It ended four years of Kross never being pinned in an MLW ring — and transformed Bishop’s title chase from hopeful ambition into something far more dangerous: proof.

On MLW Fusion, Kross addressed the defeat directly. The champion acknowledged Bishop’s ability and advocated for another championship opportunity — even as Dijak tried to steal credit for the win and leapfrog into the title picture. MLW officials, with Rich Bocchini making the announcement on Fusion, agreed: Bishop gets his rematch, with a stipulation that guarantees a decisive ending.

Last Man Standing Means No Escapes

There will be no pinfalls and no submissions in Chicago. To walk out as MLW World Heavyweight Champion, one man must leave the other unable to answer the referee’s ten-count. Their first fight ended with Bishop unconscious; their second ended with Kross’s shoulders on the mat. Now the championship belongs to the last man standing.

For Bishop, it’s the chance to turn the biggest win of his career into a title breakthrough. For Kross, it’s the ultimate test of his reign against the one man who has endured everything he has to offer.

Saturday Night SuperFight is sold out, and the only way to watch live worldwide is on VEEPS pay-per-view. Also announced for the card: IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji is scheduled to appear. Pre-orders are open now.
