Billboard’s World Albums chart for the week ending October 17 is once again a K-pop takeover, with Stray Kids leading the pack and a wave of fan favorites filling out the top ten. This week’s rankings show just how dominant Korean acts remain on the global albums chart — from chart veterans racking up dozens of weeks to fresh debuts landing straight in the upper tier.

Stray Kids Hold On to No. 1 as &TEAM and ENHYPEN Chase
Stray Kids’ latest mini album “THIS & THAT” reclaimed the top spot this week, marking its seventh non-consecutive week at No. 1. The record also climbed back to No. 29 on the Billboard 200 in its ninth straight week there. Their 2025 album “KARMA” made moves too, jumping to No. 21 in its 56th week on the World Albums chart.
Right behind them, ENHYPEN’s “THE SIN : BLISS” rose to No. 2 in its seventh week, also climbing to No. 122 on the Billboard 200. BOYNEXTDOOR’s “HOME” re-entered at No. 3 after the release of its repackaged edition “HOME: DELUXE” — the group’s first studio album, now in its 11th non-consecutive week. The repackage also pushed “HOME” back onto the Billboard 200, making it BOYNEXTDOOR’s first album ever to chart for more than one week.
&TEAM, who topped the chart last week with their new Korean mini album “Mark on Me”, slipped to No. 4 in the record’s third week.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE Debut in Top 5, CORTIS Sweep Two Spots
One of this week’s biggest stories is ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s arrival. The group’s new mini album “UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST” debuted at No. 5 — a strong opening for the act formed through the survival show “BOYS II PLANET.”
CORTIS grabbed the next two positions: “GREENGREEN” at No. 6 in its 23rd week, and “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” climbing back to No. 7 in its 57th week. ILLIT’s “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” held No. 8 in its 23rd week, while LE SSERAFIM’s “PUREFLOW” rose to No. 10 in its 20th week.
BTS Catalog Stays Strong as New Names Join the Chart
Further down, BTS’s catalog refused to leave the spotlight: their 2020 Japanese album “Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~” jumped to No. 11 in its 49th week, while 2018’s “Love Yourself: Answer” re-entered at No. 15 — an incredible 205th week on the chart.
EVAN (Heeseung’s) first mini album “DEATH OF ME” landed at No. 14 in its fifth week, ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” ranked No. 17 in its 15th week, aespa’s “LEMONADE” took No. 19 in its 19th week, and NewJeans’ 2023 EP “Get Up” closed out the top 20 in its 161st week.
