Before the big premiere tonight, tvN has dropped a juicy episode 1 preview — and it raises the stakes fast. Detective Kang Jae Hee (Seol In Ah) walks straight into Yoon Yi Jun’s (Yim Si Wan) secretary interview, hiding both her profession and her gender, in the October 19 at 8:50 p.m. KST premiere of “Love In Disguise.”
Kang Jae Hee is a former special forces officer turned detective with a strong sense of justice and a fierce competitive streak. When suspicious circumstances link Taegang Group executive Yoon Yi Jun to a murder case, she decides to investigate him from the inside — by applying for his personal secretary position, a role that, tellingly, hires only men.

An Interview From Hell
The newly released stills capture Kang Jae Hee entering the interview room, interview number tag pinned to her clothes, trying to stay calm under the double pressure of landing the job and keeping her detective identity hidden. As she passes a departing applicant, she shoots him a suspicious look before stepping inside.
Things get stranger from there. Her detective team receives a text from her that reads, “It’s… quite weird in here…” — and her teammates note that if even the straightforward Jae Hee is resorting to ellipses, something is genuinely off about that room.
Yim Si Wan Leans In
The final image is the money shot: Yoon Yi Jun and Kang Jae Hee face off at close range, with Yi Jun wearing an enigmatic smile as he leans in toward her. During the interview, he will go beyond testing applicants’ abilities and ask questions designed to unsettle her — raising the ultimate question of whether she can pass the interview at all.
