The Pirate Princess is ready to set sail again. KAIRI has broken her silence on her wrestling future, telling Weekly Pro Wrestling that “various things are already in motion” regarding where she will wrestle next once she returns to the ring.

KAIRI was released from her WWE contract back in April, and she became free to appear elsewhere in July. Yet months later, the former NXT Women’s Champion and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion has still not shown up anywhere — leaving fans guessing about her next destination.
AEW interest is real
Attention has been thrown her way from Tony Khan and AEW, and she has also been announced as part of the upcoming Chris Jericho Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea cruise. When asked directly about her next move, KAIRI stayed coy but optimistic.
“I can’t give you any specific details just yet, but various things are already in motion,” she said. “I’d be happy if everyone could wait just a little longer. Every day, I’m enjoying the experience of challenging myself with new things. Once I return to wrestling, I might be more excited than ever before.”
Visa status is not the holdup
Fightful Select recently reported that KAIRI’s AEW status is not being held up by her visa status — which removes one of the biggest practical questions hanging over a potential debut in All Elite Wrestling.
Wherever she lands, KAIRI remains one of the most beloved and recognizable women’s wrestlers in the world, with a legacy that spans WWE, NXT, and her celebrated run in Japan. Her return to the ring — whenever it comes — will be appointment viewing.
