Willow Nightingale Celebrates Four Years Since AEW Signing — And What a Run It’s Been

Four years ago, Willow Nightingale got the news every wrestler dreams of — live on AEW Rampage, Tony Schiavone announced she was officially signed to All Elite Wrestling. On the anniversary of that moment, she looked back on everything that followed.

The date was October 2022. Nightingale had just beaten Leila Grey in singles action when Schiavone broke the news that she was now All Elite. Since then, she’s become one of the most decorated women’s wrestlers in AEW history — capturing the TBS Championship twice, the AEW Women’s World Title, and the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Her anniversary message

Taking to social media on October 21, Willow reflected on her journey, writing that she wonders if the version of herself from four years ago “knew she’d end up being the first women’s triple crown champ in company history.”

It’s been quite the ride. From that Rampage debut to becoming the first women’s Triple Crown champion in AEW, Nightingale’s rise has been one of the most feel-good stories in the company.

What’s next for Willow?

With four years and a mountain of gold behind her, the only question now is what milestone comes next. If her trajectory is anything to go by, there are plenty more firsts waiting.
