Final Fantasy: Resonance — Where to Find the Hidden City of Mysidia

About halfway through Final Fantasy: Resonance, you finally get your airship — and almost immediately, the game sends you hunting for the hidden city of Mysidia. Here’s exactly where to look so you don’t waste an hour pinging empty ocean.

How the radar works

At the start of Chapter 5, your airship gets fitted with a new radar system. While flying around the world map, press the right trigger to send out a ping, and Lid will tell you whether she’s picking up any traces of Mysidia. You can wander the skies following her hints, but that’s a slow way to do it.

Where Mysidia actually is

Skip the random searching: head to the very southern portion of the map. Look for the large landmass of the Kingdom of Pharm on your left and two small islands nearby. Fly between those landmasses, then push slightly further south and send out a ping — Mysidia will reveal itself.

That’s all there is to it. The radar isn’t a one-and-done gimmick, either: later in the game you’ll use the same pinging system to hunt for treasure scattered across the world map, with Lid guiding you to fresh loot each time.

Final Fantasy: Resonance is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
