WWE SmackDown October 23: Confirmed Matches
The headline bout is Chelsea Green (c) vs. Roxanne Perez for the WWE Women’s Championship. Green already has Liv Morgan waiting for her at Crown Jewel — first she has to survive tonight as champion. Perez has proof she can beat Green: two weeks ago on Raw, Perez defeated Green in a non-title match after interference from Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Now the stakes are much bigger.
The Crown Jewel picture hangs over everything: Green is supposed to face Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in a Champion vs. Champion match. If Perez takes the title tonight, that entire situation changes just two weeks before the show. The Judgment Day could also play a factor — Perez won’t necessarily be walking into this one alone.
