Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton is set for WWE Crown Jewel — and it will be a Last Man Standing match, one of the most brutal stipulations in WWE.

The match was made on this week’s WWE SmackDown. Rhodes wanted to fight Orton on the spot, but neither Orton nor SmackDown GM Nick Aldis wanted that — instead, Aldis proposed the bout for Crown Jewel, and The American Nightmare added the Last Man Standing stipulation himself.
Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton: A 2026 Trilogy
This will be the third meeting between the two this year. Their first match took place at WrestleMania 42, where Rhodes won, and they had a rematch at Sunday Night’s Main Event, where Orton got the victory. The series is tied 1-1, and Crown Jewel will settle the score.
Orton has been a thorn in Rhodes’s side for weeks — including an interference in Rhodes’s impromptu match against Baron Corbin that ended with a vicious punt kick — so a no-disqualification brawl with no pinfalls or submissions feels like the only way this feud ends.
WWE Crown Jewel 2026: Date and Location
WWE Crown Jewel is scheduled for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With the Last Man Standing stipulation on the poster, Rhodes and Orton’s grudge match shapes up as one of the event’s headline bouts.
