Dead by Daylight Removing Chucky Content on November 24 After Pulling Michael Myers

It is officially time to say goodbye to one of Dead by Daylight‘s most unhinged Killers. Behaviour Interactive has announced that all Chucky content will be pulled from sale on November 24, 2026 — just months after the game lost Michael Myers.

The developer confirmed the removal of the Chucky Chapter in posts shared across social media, ending rumors that had been swirling in the community. The statement carried a fitting farewell: “We welcomed The Good Guy out of his box and into The Fog nearly three years ago, but it’s now time for the Chucky Chapter to leave the shelf.”

What the Chucky Removal Means for Players

According to an FAQ shared by the developers, The Good Guy — Chucky’s in-game Killer name — will no longer be available to purchase after November 24. His outfits and cosmetics, added since his 2023 debut, will also be pulled, and no future add-ons for the character are planned. Bug fixes for existing owners will still be supported.

The good news: anything you have already unlocked stays in your collection forever. If you have been on the fence about picking up Chucky, the window is closing — but Behaviour is softening the blow with a “Last Chance” sale starting Monday, October 26, slashing all Chucky content by 50% across every platform until the removal date.

Dead by Daylight Loses Another Horror Icon

Fans call the game’s roster of licensed Killers “horror Super Smash Bros.,” but Behaviour has a history of pulling big names. Hellraiser’s Pinhead was removed from digital storefronts in 2025 after joining in 2021, and Halloween’s Michael Myers — the first major licensed Killer added after the game’s 2016 launch — was removed this past January.

Chucky’s three-year run was beloved for how unique the little terror played compared to every other Killer in The Fog. Whatever licensed horror icon comes next, the doll with the stripes will be missed.
