Perry broke the news in a new interview with TMZ Inside The Ring, saying the project is already deep into development. “It is going to be made into a movie. We’re already in the works with it. Very exciting. We’re already starting to work on the packaging. It’s like a James Bond spy thriller. There’s some woman leads, which is really exciting.”

Perry confirmed she will not star in the film herself, instead producing it and likely taking a cameo. “No, we’re going to get a bigger actress, like a bigger name. I’m producing it though,” she said. “As a producer, I want to get names that move the needle, the best actresses. Even though I’m phenomenal, there is people that are better.”
In a fun twist, her husband Rusev will portray a villain in the film, giving the real-life couple a chance to work together on the project.

The novel was first announced in September and arrives in November, and a fast-tracked film adaptation is a bold play for a debut author. With Perry producing and chasing A-list actresses for the lead, “Bulletproof Angel” could become one of the more unexpected crossover success stories to come out of the wrestling world.
