Wound & Bandage anime cast revealed
The two new characters are members of the “bandage alliance,” an internet community gathered alongside protagonist Riyu Washizu (username Wamp Samurai). The group shares an unusual bond: they have a fetish for seeing strong people weakened. Hikasa is best known for roles such as Mio Akiyama in K-On! and Weiss Schnee in RWBY, while Iguchi is celebrated as Index in A Certain Magical Index and Tsukihi Araragi in Monogatari.
Wound & Bandage premiere date and staff
The Wound & Bandage anime will air on January 9, broadcasting on ABC and TV Asahi’s Animazing!!! late-night block (Saturdays at 26:00, effectively Sunday mornings at 2:00 a.m.). It will premiere first on AT-X at 11:00 p.m., then stream on ABEMA half an hour after the terrestrial broadcast.
The anime is directed by Miyuki Ishida at J.C. Staff, with scripts by Susumu Yamakawa and character designs by Natsuki Ōyama. The romantic comedy centers on Riyo Washizu, daughter of a Kanto yakuza boss, and her young caretaker Gō Kiritani, who discovers she has a secret fondness for watching strong people at their weakest.
