Lisa “Body Hair” Posts Go Viral on X
Multiple posts on X went massively viral showing an extreme close-up of Lisa’s stomach, zoomed in so far that the fine hairs were visible. The captions, all similar, claimed that despite having all the means to get laser hair removal, she has not done so for her body. Some netizens pointed out that similar posts have popped up on the platform over the last few days, raising suspicions that they are “ragebait” posts meant purely to generate engagement.
Fans Defend BLACKPINK Lisa Against Scrutiny
The reaction was swift and overwhelmingly critical of the posts rather than Lisa. One widely shared reply read: “The people who go out of their way to zoom in and inspect every single strand of hair are the ones who are actually the most cringeworthy.” Others pointed out the absurdity, noting Lisa is one of the biggest K-pop stars in the world and “we’re now treating a few natural hairs like a rare scientific discovery.” Many called the scrutiny gross and invasive, pushing back against the intense body standards female idols face.
