Amazon, Tesla and SpaceX are the latest companies to object to OKX-ICE’s tokenized stock trading plans, joining Netflix, SoFi and Lam Research in an updated public notice dated Monday — as the response deadline for companies notified early on arrives.

OKX-ICE Objections Hit 56 as Amazon, Tesla, SpaceX Say No
The six additions bring disclosed objections to 56 companies, up from 50 in the October 30 update, according to CoinDesk’s tally. Of the 62 companies OKXICE initially picked for trading, roughly 79% have now objected to having blockchain-based versions of their shares traded.
OKXICE — the joint venture between crypto exchange OKX and NYSE parent Intercontinental Exchange — plans to let investors trade tokenized versions of U.S. shares around the clock on a blockchain-based venue, paying with stablecoins. Under the SEC’s Innovation Exemption, companies can block third-party tokenization of their shares by objecting within 30 days of receiving notice.
What the November 3 Deadline Means
For issuers that received notice on October 4, when OKXICE published its initial filing, the 30-day window falls on Tuesday, November 3 — though the clock runs from each company’s individual receipt of notice, not a single common deadline. OKXICE has up to five business days to publish objections, so more filings could surface after today.
Thirteen companies have no disclosed objection as of Monday’s notice, including Apple, Strategy, Robinhood, Coinbase, Circle and Boeing — though CoinDesk notes absence from the list is not an endorsement of the venue.
