The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World TV Anime Reveals Opening Theme Artist – News

The staff for the television anime of Yoneori‘s The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World (Suterare Seijo no Isekai Gohan Tabi: Kakure Skill de Camping Car o Shōkan Shimashita) light novel series announced on Sunday that girl group INUWASI will perform the anime’s opening theme song titled “Butterfly.” This is the first time the group will perform the theme song of an anime series.
The anime will debut in July.
The anime stars Sora Tokui as Rin Takanashi and Yūki Ono as Vil.
Atsushi Nigorikawa (Once Upon a Witch’s Death, Zenryoku Usagi, Hakushon Daimaō 2020) is directing the anime at EMT Squared. Takashi Aoshima (Himouto! Umaruchan, Kakushigoto, Synduality: Noir) is in charge of series scripts, the novels’ illustrator Akane Nitou is credited for the original character designs, and Izumi Ishii is adapting those designs for animation. Ankichi Kobo is credited for production assistance.
Hiroto Morishita (7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life, The Food Diary of Miss Maid, Wistoria: Wand and Sword two seasons) is the anime’s sound director at Bit Grooove Promotion. Kana Utatane (two Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill seasons, Nights with a Cat) is composing the music and Lantis is producing the music.
The light novels’ story centers on Rin Takanashi, a working adult, around thirty years old, who is into camping and tabletop role-playing games. She was summoned as a saint to another world with a beautiful high school girl, but her “Motor House” (Camper Van) and “Survival” skills were deemed garbage by the prince and she is instantly exiled. Rin discovers that her skills are actually useful in special environments, and she decides to continue her hobbies of solo camping and cooking in the other world. Using her skills to summon her dream camper van, she sets off on her own foodie roadtrip and meets wonderful companions along the way.
Yoneori launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2019. Kadokawa started publishing the novels with illustration by Nitou in 2020. The sixth novel volume shipped in May 2024. Nana Kogami launched the manga adaptation on Kadokawa‘s ComicWalker website in 2020. Kadokawa shipped the manga’s fourth compiled book volume in May 2025.

Akaza Samamiya announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday the Mr. Mallow Blue: After The Rain side story to the Mr. Mallow Blue manga will end in the next chapter.
The original series focuses on the meetings of various social outcasts, including a fragile girl, a shut-in, and a handsome man who wears a cold expression as a mask.
Samamiya launched the side story in the March issue of Kadokawa‘s Asuka magazine, which shipped in January.
Samamiya launched the main manga in Kadokawa‘s Asuka magazine in November 2019, and ended the series with the the sixth and final compiled book volume on December 24.
Samamiya launched the Ballad x Opera manga in Asuka in May 2017, and ended it in September 2019. Kadokawa published the manga’s fifth and final volume in November 2019.
Samamiya serialized the Bloody Mary manga series in Asuka from November 2013 until February 2017. Kadokawa published 10 volumes for the manga, and Viz Media published all 10 volumes in English.

The 14th and final episode of Mushoku Tensei III: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3) television anime announced on Sunday that its second part is scheduled for 2027.
Produced by Studio Bind, the 23-episode first season aired in split cours in Winter 2021 and Fall 2021. The 24-episode second season premiered in two parts, with the first part in Summer 2023 and the second part in Spring 2024. The first part of season 3 aired in 14-episodes in Summer 2026. Funimation and Crunchyroll simulcast the anime series with English subtitles, respectively.
Mushoku Tensei adapts Rifujin na Magonote‘s adventure fantasy light novel, which he penned on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website between November 2012 and April 2015. Kadokawa began printing the novel with illustrations by Sirotaka under its MF Books label in January 2014 and shipped the 26th volume in November 2022.
Yuka Fujikawa began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Flapper magazine in May 2014. Kadokawa published the 25th volume on September 18.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga in English and published the 26th light novel volume on March 12. The 23rd manga volume went on sale on March 5, with the 24th volume scheduled for a March 2027 release.
