Dragon Quest, Silent Hill Inducted into 2026 Video Game Hall of Fame – News
Strong National Museum of Play also inducts Angry Birds, FIFA International Soccer
The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York announced the 2026 inductees to its Video Game Hall of Fame on Thursday, This year’s inductees include Dragon Quest (1986), Silent Hill (1999), Angry Birds (2009), and FIFA International Soccer (1993).

The Strong launched the World Video Game Hall of Fame in 2015. The hall’s inaugural class of games were Pong (1972), Pac-Man (1980), Tetris (1984), Super Mario Bros. (1985), Doom (1993), and World of Warcraft (2004).
In 2016, The Strong inducted The Legend of Zelda (1986), Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), Space Invaders (1978), Grand Theft Auto III (2001), The Oregon Trail (1971), and The Sims (2000).
In 2017, the inductees included: Donkey Kong (1981), Halo: Combat Evolved (2001), Pokémon Red and Green (1996), and Street Fighter II (1991).
In 2018, the inductees included: Spacewar! (1962), John Madden Football (1990), Tomb Raider (1996), and Final Fantasy VII (1997).
In 2019, the inductees included: Colossal Cave Adventure (1976) Microsoft Windows Solitaire (1990), Mortal Kombat (1992), and Super Mario Kart (1992).
The Strong nominated 12 candidates in 2020, out of which the inductees included Bejeweled (2001), Centipede (1981), King’s Quest (1980), and Minecraft (2011).
In 2021, The Strong inducted Animal Crossing (2001), Microsoft Flight Simulator (1982), StarCraft (1998), and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? (1985).
In 2022, the Strong inducted: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998), Ms. Pac-Man (1982), Dance Dance Revolution (1998), and Sid Meier’s Civilization (1991).
In 2023, the Strong inducted: Wii Sports (2006), Barbie Fashion Designer (1996), Computer Space (1971), and The Last of Us (2013).
In 2024, the Strong inducted Resident Evil (1996), Ultima (1981), Sim City (1989), Myst (1993), and Asteroids (1979).
In 2025, the Strong inducted Tamagotchi! (1996), Defender (1981), Goldeneye 007 (1997), and Quake (1996).
The museum describes the selection process:
Anyone may nominate a game to the World Video Game Hall of Fame. Final selections are made on the advice of journalists, scholars, and other individuals familiar with the history of video games and their role in society.
The public can vote on any one of the candidates, with the public collectively acting as one member of the voting committee.
The museum’s International Center for the History of Electronic Games is hosting a permanent display of the Hall of Fame honorees in its eGameRevolution exhibit. The museum also houses the Brian Sutton-Smith Library and Archives of Play, the National Toy Hall of Fame, the Woodbury School, and the American Journal of Play.

Manga Plus Adds Digimon Eggs Manga on October 2 – News

The Digimon franchise announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday that Shueisha‘s MANGA Plus platform will add Ayumu Minato’s Digimon Eggs manga as a simulpub title on October 2.
The series will launch in Shueisha‘s Saikyō Jump magazine on the same day. Simplified Chinese and Korean versions will also debut on the Digimon Web website.
The Digimon franchise announced in August that a new anime project will broadcast next year.
DIGIMON BEATBREAK, the new television anime for the Digimon franchise, debuted on Fuji TV and other channels in October 2025, and it ended on Sunday. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired, and it is also streaming an English dub.
The first Digital Monster digital pet toys went on sale in 1997, and the first Digimon Adventure television anime series premiered in 1999. The Digimon Adventure 02 sequel anime series then aired in 2000-2001. The 50-episode Digimon Frontier anime aired in Japan from April 2002 to March 2003. The Digimon Ghost Game anime premiered in October 2021, and ended with its 68th episode in March 2023.

Dungeon Farm Manga Artist Mozukuzu Launches New Manga – News
The 157th issue of Kadokawa‘s Dengeki Daioh G magazine launched Mozukuzu‘s new Kemomimi Miko no Isekai Jinja Saikō-ki: Kami-sama ga Kureta Kiseki no Chikara no sei de Matsurare Sugite Komattemasu (The story of a shrine maiden with animal ears reviving a shrine in another world: I’m Troubled by Being Worshipped Too Much Because of the Miraculous Power a God Gave Me) manga on Monday. The manga is an adaptation of writer Mizuho Itsuki (Management of a Novice Alchemist (light novel) and illustrator risumi’s novel of the same title.

The story centers on high school girl Suzuka Mimori, who works as a shrine maiden at her family’s shrine. One day, she gets caught up in a mysterious vortex and is transported to another world. There, she receives a letter from the enshrined deity. The god, who was once worshipped as a divine beast but is now forgotten, wants Suzuka to serve as a shrine maiden and gather worshippers again. For Suzuka to do that, the god gives her a mysterious power that lets her perform “miracles,” plus fox ears and a tail (based on the god’s preference?).
Kadokawa published the original novel in September 2024.
Mozukuzu launched the manga adaptation of Ryūichi Suzuki‘s Dungeon Farm: Kicked Out of My Home, So I’m Homesteading in a Dungeon! light novel series in Square Enix‘s Gangan Online website in August 2023. The manga ended with its fourth compiled book volume that shipped in October 2025. Square Enix‘s Manga UP! Global service published the manga in English digitally.

Now That I Can Control Reality With A Mouse Cursor Anime’s English Dub Debuts on October 4 – News

WWWave Corporation‘s anime streaming platform OceanVeil announced on Monday that the English dub of the television anime of Okumaro‘s Now That I Can Control Reality With A Mouse Cursor, I’m Gonna Click Away On The Girls! (Mouse Cursor de Genjitsu o Sōsa Dekiru Yō ni Natta node, Onna no Ko o Ippai Click Shima~su, or Click Me All Over) manga will debut on the service on October 4 alongside the Japanese television premiere.

The anime is part of the AnimeFesta programming block in Japan. The anime will debut on television in Japan on October 4 at 25:00 (effectively October 5 at 1:00 a.m.) on Tokyo MX and BS11. The anime began streaming in Japan earlier on AnimeFesta starting on September 11. OceanVeil also began streaming the anime on the same day.

Takumi, an ordinary otaku, is sitting in IT class when he notices something impossible: his computer mouse cursor has sprung right out of the screen and into the real world! Panicked, he asks his bossy childhood friend Mone if she can see it, but she just brushes him off. Realizing the cursor is completely invisible to others and under his control, Takumi decides to test it out by slipping it between the gaps in Mone’s clothes and clicking away!
As Mone writhes from the unfamiliar sensation, Takumi uncovers a floating real-life context menu featuring incredible controls like “Cut”, “Paste”, “Double Sensitivity Mode”, and even “The Real Deal” (if he can earn enough Click Points!). But keeping his new powers a secret isn’t easy. Between accidental wardrobe malfunctions caused by ‘Cut’, mysterious classmates pursuing him, and art club presidents who might actually see the cursor, Takumi’s clicking spree is about to set off a wild, slapstick chain reaction!
Kazuya Nakamura is the anime’s planning and executive producer, Reiga Goto is the producer, Studio Hōkiboshi is producing the anime, and Suiseisha is credited for production. Makoto Sokuza is the director, Eeyo Kurosaki is overseeing the series scripts, Minakawa Akapiv is the character designer, and Harimasu is the chief animation director.

Okumaro began serializing the manga on the ComicFesta service in March 2024, and Suiseisha published the manga’s fourth volume on September 18. Coolmic is publishing the manga in English under the title Click Me All Over.
