Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts’ Yu Tomofuji Launches New Series in July – News
Kimi o Norowaba manga first published as 1-shot story in January
The June 1 issue of Hakusensha‘s The Hana to Yume magazine announced on Monday that Yu Tomofuji will launch a new manga titled Kimi o Norowaba (If I Curse You) in the magazine’s next issue on July 27.

The manga’s story centers on Yachimaru Shijō, a young boy(?) who ends up working for Tsubaki Tsukumo, the head of the Tsukumo family, and who makes a living by casting curses. Yachimaru gets constantly bossed around by the unpleasant Tsubaki, but follows every order to stay at the Tsukumo family’s house to fulfill something that he must do.
The manga was first published as a one-shot story in Hakusensha‘s Hana to Yume magazine in January.
Tomofuji launched the Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts (Niehime to Kemono no Ō) manga in the main Hana to Yume magazine in 2015, and ended it in October 2020. The manga’s 15th and final compiled book volume shipped in January 2021. The manga has 2.1 million copies in circulation, including digital sales. Yen Press published the 15th volume in April 2022. The manga had a side-story chapter that appeared in Hana to Yume‘s sister magazine The Hana to Yume in April 2022.
The manga’s anime adaptation’s first cours (quarter of a year) premiered in April 2023, and the second cours then premiered in July 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the anime worldwide outside Asia.
The manga also inspired a stage play adaptation in 2024.
A spinoff manga titled White Rabbit and the Prince of Beasts (Shiro Usagi to Kemono no Ōji) began serialization in Hana to Yume in August 2022, and it ended in 2024. Yen Press also publishes the spinoff manga in English.

Quality Assurance in Another World Manga Enters Hiatus – News

Manga creator Masamichi Sato announced on Kodansha‘s Comic Days platform on Saturday that the Quality Assurance in Another World manga will go on an extended hiatus as they focus on recovering from being hospitalized for a hernia. The manga will return at a later date to be announced.
Kodansha USA publishes the series in English and describes the story:
You think you’re living a quiet life in the countryside. Then, one day, a dragon shows up, and everything changes—not because of the fire-breathing serpent, but because of Haga, the man who shows up and “debugs” the situation. Can it be that your life is nothing like what you thought? And what, exactly, is “QA?” A thrilling isekai action fantasy from a fresh, new perspective!
Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the manga digitally and in print. The ongoing manga launched on Kodansha‘s Comic Days service in 2020. Kodansha is shipping the 18th compiled book volume in Japanese on Monday. Kodansha USA will release the 17th volume on August 18.
The television anime premiered on the Animeism B2 block on TBS, MBS, and BS-TBS in July 2024. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired, and is also streaming an English dub.

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Remake Game Streams New English Trailer – News
Nihon Falcom and GungHo Online Entertainment streamed a new English-language trailer for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter (Sora no Kiseki the 2nd), the remake of the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC game, on Friday.
The game will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam on September 17.
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is a follow-up to Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (Sora no Kiseki the 1st), the remake of the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky game.
The company describes the story:
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter follows Estelle as she searches for Joshua and confronts the Enforcers of Ouroboros. Though the struggle centers on Liberl Kingdom, its implications touch the wider continent of Zemuria, drawing Estelle into ancient mysteries, political tensions, and the truth behind Joshua’s past. With the fate of a legendary artifact at stake, Estelle must step up as a young leader, ready to face an enemy whose plans reach far beyond anything she imagined.
The remake has English and Japanese voice support on all platforms. Japanese, English, German, French, and Spanish versions of the text are supported on PC via Steam. English, German, French, and Spanish text language support are available on consoles.

The Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake launched simultaneously worldwide in September 2025 for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.

Nihon Falcom released the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC game, the follow-up to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, on PC in 2006, and then on the PlayStation Portable in 2007, and on the PlayStation 3 in 2013. XSEED Games released the game in English on PSP in October 2015. Nihon Falcom released a remaster of the game titled The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC Evolution in Japan in December 2015.
The original version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky debuted in Japan for PC in 2004. The game later received releases on PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
XSEED Games localized and released The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky in 2011 for PlayStation Portable. The game inspired the The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky anime in 2011.
NIS America released The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II (The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-) game for Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG in English in February 2025. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN- launched for PS4 and PS5 in Japan in September 2022. The game debuted for Switch in Japan under the title The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II for Nintendo Switch in July 2024.

Square Enix‘s Manga UP! Global app added Majisawa‘s How to Feed a Delinquent Boy (Furyō Shōnen ni Meshi o Kuwasu) manga on Thursday.

Manga UP! describes the story:
Yuri Moriyama is a 27-year-old sales rep who thought she had it all—a successful career and a blissful domestic life making meals for her fiancé of five years. But her happiness crashes down when her fiancé confesses he’s gotten a junior colleague pregnant and breaks off their engagement. That’s when she encounters a starving boy named Shoa. The manga launched in Square Enix‘s Big Gangan magazine in July 2024. The company shipped the first compiled volume of the manga in February 25.
