For the Kentucky Oaks, the longest-shot winner was Lemons Forever. In 2006, this filly horse entered the race with 47-1 odds.

She trailed for the majority of the race, before blazing ahead to win by 1 1/2 lengths.

After this surprise victory, Lemons Forever raced ten more times. She only captured victory one more time after Kentucky Oaks.

Lemons Forever retired in 2007 and was sold for $2.5 million. She produced five foals, with four of them becoming winners.
