7th Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 Film Reveals Title, Visual, October 30 Premiere – News

Bandai Namco Filmworks revealed on Friday that the seventh film in Yamato yo Towa ni: Rebel 3199 (Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199), the latest project in the Space Battleship Yamato remakes, is titled Nijiiro no Rinne (Rainbow-Colored Reincarnation) and will open in theaters in Japan on October 30. The staff unveiled a teaser visual by concept artist Kia Asamiya:

The anime will premiere as seven films. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime under the title Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 3199.

The sixth film, Aoi Meikyū (Blue Labyrinth), opened on June 26. In the story, the Yamato passes through a space time node that brings the main characters to the year 2026 in the present-day Reiwa era in Tokyo.

The fifth film opened in Japan on February 20.

The fourth film Mizuiro no Sasha (The Aqua Sasha) opened in Japan in October 2025. The fourth film’s Blu-ray Disc and DVD shipped in Japan in December 2025.

The third film Gunjō no Asteroid (Ultramarine Asteroid) opened in Japan in April 2025.

The anime’s second film Sekijitsu no Shutsugeki (The Assault of the Burning Sun) premiered in Japan in November 2024. The film earned 64,118,600 yen (about US$410,028 in current conversion) in its first three days. Participating theaters offered a special limited edition Blu-ray Disc of the film during its screening run. The film then shipped on retail Blu-ray Disc and DVD in January 2025. Megumi Han took over the role of Sasha in the second film. Megumi Han‘s mother Keiko Han voiced the role in the Be Forever Yamato film.

Kuro no Shinryaku (Dark Invasion), the first film, opened in July 2024. The film earned 58,863,050 yen (about US$376,419 in current conversion) in its first three days.

Naomichi Yamato (From the New World, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans episode director) is directing the new anime, with Harutoshi Fukui now also credited as supervising director along with his roles as head writer and scriptwriter as in previous anime in the series. Hideki Oka is also returning as co-writer on the script. Nobuteru Yūki is returning as character designer. Junichirō Tamamori, Mika Akitaka, and asushi Ishizu are credited for mechanical designs. Hiroyuki Gotō is the CG producer, while Shōsuke Uechi is credited as CG director. Tomohiro Yoshida is the sound director.

As with prior anime in the series, late producer Yoshinobu Nishizaki is credited for the original work, and his son Shōji Nishizaki is credited as chief production supervisor and copyright chief supervisor. Akira Miyagawa is returning to compose the music alongside Shū Kanematsu (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses). Akira Miyagawa‘s late father and original Space Battleship Yamato composer Hiroshi Miyagawa is also credited for music.

The new project is a sequel to the Uchū Senkan Yamato 2205: Aratanaru Tabidachi – Kōshō -STASHA- (Space Battleship Yamato 2205: The New Voyage Part II: Stasha) film, which opened in February 2022.

Skeleton Knight in Another World Anime Season 2’s Video Reveals 3 Cast Members – News

The official website for the television anime based on Ennki Hakari‘s Skeleton Knight in Another World (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechū or Skeleton Knight, going out to the parallel universe) light novel series unveiled a new promotional video and visual for the anime’s second season on Friday. The video reveals three new cast members for the anime.

The anime will debut on the AT-X channel on July 4 at 8:30 p.m. (7:30 a.m.), and will also debut streaming on d Anime Store and ABEMA at the same time. The first episode of the second season will then have a repeat broadcast on AT-X on July 6, before running on Tokyo MX and BS11 on July 9. The anime will also air on Sun TV, but it does not yet have a premiere date on the channel.

Crunchyroll will stream the new season.

The series stars:

Katsumi Ono returns to direct the second season at Aura Studio. Character designer Tōru Imanishi, monster designer Yoshihiro Nagamori, and sound director Satoshi Motoyama all return for the second season.

Toshizo Nemoto (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime fourth season, Inu X Boku Secret Service) is now in charge of series scripts, replacing Takeshi Kikuchi. First season sub-character designer Hideki Inoue is replaced by Chisa Shibata (7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life, Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy), and Jia Fang Lu (My Clueless First Friend) replaces art director Kenta Tsuboi. Other new staff includes color key artist Harue Ono (MAD BOX, replacing Chiho Nakamura), CGI director Tomotaka Aoki (Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3), and animation producer Yasuhiro Uema. PelleK returns to perform the anime’s opening theme song “Rōman Kaidō, Osanpo Chū” (Strolling on the Highway of Dreams). The voice actor unit DIALOGUE+ performs the ending theme song “Kiseki wa Okinai” (Miracles Don’t Happen).

The anime’s first season premiered in Japan in April 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired, and also streams an English dub.

Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the light novel series and its manga adaptation in English, and it describes the story:

One day, a gamer played video games until he fell asleep…and when he woke up, he found himself in the game world–as a skeleton! Equipped with the powerful weapons and armor of his avatar but stuck with its frightening skeletal appearance, Arc has to find a place for himself in this new, fantastical land. All his hopes for a quiet life are dashed when he crosses paths with a beautiful elven warrior, setting him on a journey full of conflict and adventure.

Ennki Hakari launched the novels on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s be Novelists) website in October 2014. Overlap published the first volume with illustrations by KeG in June 2015, and the 10th volume in March 2022. Seven Seas shipped the 10th volume in April 2023.

Akira Sawano (A Bridge to the Starry Skies character design) launched the ongoing manga adaptation on Overlap‘s Comic Gardo website in February 2017. Overlap shipped the 15th volume on June 20, and Seven Seas shipped the 14th volume on March 24.

Aoashi Season 2 Anime Reveals New Visual, Theme Song Artists – News

The staff of the television anime of Yūgo Kobayashi‘s Aoashi manga revealed a new visual and the theme song artists for the anime’s second season on Friday. 10-FEET will perform the opening theme song for the first half of the second season (first 12 episodes), while Ai Higuchi will perform the ending theme song. The titles of the theme songs remain unrevealed.

In addition, the staff announced that the anime will have a panel at Anime Expo on July 3. The panel will show a behind-the-scenes look at the anime, and preview footage of the second season.

The second season will debut on NHK Educational on October 4.

Kazuki Yokoyama is replacing Akira Satō as the director. Asami Taguchi (Lupin Zero) and Junko Yamanaka (Lupin III vs. Cat’s Eye) are now credited as character designers alongside returning character designer Manabu Nakatake, with previous character designers Asuka YamaguchiSaki Hasegawa, and Toshie Kawamura no longer credited. The rest of the principal staff members, including script supervisor Masahiro Yokotani, sound director Shōji Hata, and composer Masaru Yokoyama, are returning. As previously announced, TMS Entertainment will animate the second season instead of Production I.G.

The manga centers on third-year middle school student Ashito Aoi, who lives in Ehime prefecture. Ashito has a strong talent in soccer, but he tries to hide it. Due to his very straightforward personality, he causes a disaster that serves as a huge setback for him. Then, Tatsuya Fukuya — a veteran of the strong J-Club team Tokyo City Esperion and coach of the club’s youth team — appears in front of Ashito. Tatsuya sees through Ashito and sees his talent, and invites him to try out for the youth team in Tokyo.

The first season of the anime premiered in April 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

Akira Satō (Release the Spyce) directed the first season at Production I.G. Masahiro Yokotani (Free! – Iwatobi Swim Club, All Out!!, Tropical-Rouge! Precure) was in charge of the series scripts. Manabu Nakatake, Toshie Kawamura, Asuka Yamaguchi, and Saki Hasegawa were all credited for character design, with Natake and Yamaguchi also credited as chief animation directors. Naho Seike, Yukiko Watabe, Miho Daidouji, and Eisuke Shirai were credited as sub-character designers. Kenichi Takeshita, Jun Soga, and Kenji Iizuka were credited for soccer supervision. Masaru Yokoyama composed the music.

Kobayashi (Fermat no Ryōri) launched the Aoashi manga in Weekly Big Comic Spirits
in January 2015, and ended it with its 40th volume in August 2025. Naohiko Ueno is credited for research and original story collaboration up to the manga’s 17th volume. The series won the Best General Manga at the 65th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2020. Titan Manga is releasing the manga in English in omnibus format, and it released the first 3-in-1 omnibus volume on June 9.

The manga won the Best General Manga at the 65th Shogakukan Manga Awards. The series has over 15 million copies in circulation.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 Game Reveals ‘Side Stories’ DLC Trailer – News

“Side Story: Rudy” DLC out today



CAPCOM unveiled a new trailer on Thursday for the “Side Stories” DLC for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, a new turn-based role-playing game in its Monster Hunter franchise. The trailer previews the upcoming side stories and their focus characters.


CAPCOM released the “Side Story: Rudy” today, and also unveiled a trailer for the DLC.


The game launched on March 13 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

CAPCOM describes the game:

Twin Rathalos, born in a twist of fate, ignite the long dormant flames of war between two fractured nations: Azuria and Vermeil. You are the heir to the kingdom of Azuria, and the sole Rathalos Rider in the kingdom. On the brink of war and amidst strange phenomena threatening the world, a life changing event propels you beyond the Meridian, and on an unforgettable journey in search of the truth.

Monster Hunter Stories originally launched for Nintendo 3DS in October 2016 in Japan and in the West in September 2017. CAPCOM released the game for smartphones in Japan in December 2017 and in the West in September 2018. A remastered game launched for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in June 2024.

The Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin game launched worldwide for Switch and PC via Steam in July 2021.

Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin both launched on Xbox One on November 14.

The Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON tie-in anime premiered in Japan in October 2016. Crunchyroll streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired and Funimation streamed an English dub.
