Desi Lydic took aim at the Trump Cabinet’s growing TikTok presence, blasting its “hype” videos as the country grappled with a “poop lettuce” scare.

The comedian addressed the Trump administration’s new effort on TikTok during Wednesday’s monologue for “The Daily Show,” where she mocked President Donald Trump for calling himself No. 1 on “Tic Tac” to the press.

“Number one on ‘Tic Tac.’ Not to mention, also very popular on ‘Facebark’ and ‘Instagorp,’” Lydic quipped. “Let’s see the master at work.”

The “Daily Show” editors then played one upload from Trump’s account, which showed the president bragging about his TikTok influence before awkwardly pivoting to a call to “stop communism.”

“What? Where did that come from? That TikTok was directed by M. Night Shyamalan,” Lydic said. “Look, I know it doesn’t seem like that would be very popular on TikTok, but don’t forget, they love messy bitches.”

She continued: “And it’s not just Trump. His whole cabinet is getting on TikTok. They just dropped a new video promoting it.”

Lydic then tee’d up the White House’s black-and-white video highlighting the main players of Trump’s Cabinet and administration, including Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collins, Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum and Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent.

“Is this a TikTok or a hype video for a 50-year high school reunion? Oh, s–t. Doug’s coming?” she joked. “I thought that guy was dead. But I don’t want to prejudge. Let’s check out some of these TikToks. RFK Jr., you never do anything weird. Let’s see what you got.”

A TikTok video showing the secretary of health and human services staring menacingly with red glowing eyes then played, leaving Lydic to declare: “What the f–k? Jesus. It looks like a terminator who went back in time to stop Sarah Connor from getting vaccinated. Why does he have those laser eyes? Is that how he hunts roadkill? Oh my god, somebody hide [viral raccoon] Jimothy.”

“I’m glad you guys are having so much fun making TikToks. But remind me, how’s your actual job going?” she added as footage played about rising measles cases and the cyclosporiasis outbreak. “Huh, huh. Cool, cool. You’ve got laser eyes, and the rest of us have measles and poop lettuce. Thanks for giving us content to watch while we’re sitting on the toilet, s–ting our guts out from a parasite that you’re not doing anything to stop.”

She then ripped the administration for being “so cavalier about all of this” while the country faces “real problems.”

Reid Scott is set to depart “Law & Order” with James Badge Dale tapped as his successor.

Scott has played Senior Detective Vincent Riley for the past several seasons, having joined the Dick Wolf-created crime procedural for its 23rd season.

As for Dale, this isn’t his first time appearing on a Wolf drama, as he previously had a one episode stint on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” in 2002. He’s set to play a new Senior Detective, filling the void left by Scott.

It’s said Scott’s Det. Riley will close out his story across a few episodes before Dale’s detective, whose character name has yet to be revealed, joins the squad.

Deadline was first to report word of Scott’s exit and Dale’s casting.

As The Odyssey surpasses $300M after a record opening weekend, conservative critics should be eating their words.

On Tuesday’s episode of The View, panelist Whoopi Goldberg called out social media trolls who have been “losing their minds over the cast” and are “still trashing the movie” amid its box office success, responding to a video of Ben Shapiro complaining that it’s “stupid to cast Elliot Page as a dude” in the Christopher Nolan adaptation.

“Listen, a lot of conservatives who see this are going to feel the same way. That’s okay,” she prefaced. “But I don’t understand. Why go see the movie? If you don’t want to see it, then don’t go see it. Why do you care who’s cast in it?”

Goldberg continued, “I don’t understand this idea that if we hate it, everybody must hate it because we hate it for this reason. You don’t like Elliot Page? Don’t go see the damn movie. Don’t do it. We will be okay if you don’t go see it.”

Fellow panelist Alyssa Farrah Griffin called the movie “a masterpiece,” arguing that despite the “woke” criticisms, the film has “a real conservative message.”

“It’s about devotion to family, it’s about faith, it’s about upholding institutions. It’s about how war is dangerous and has repercussions for all of us,” she explained. “And the fact that conservatives can’t take the win and just be like, ‘oh no, this is a really excellent film with a good message for families,’ I’ll never understand.”

Joy Behar quipped, “but they’re stuck on ‘woke,’” to which Griffin noted, “But there’s nothing woke in this film.”

Sarah Haines also chimed in on the discourse around trans actor Page playing Greek soldier Sinon, following online outrage over speculation that he would star as Achilles.

“There’s a unique ignorance to someone who comments on something they’ve never seen,” said Haines. “You’re taught from a young age, do your research, learn, and then you can join the conversation. But it’s like not voting and then complaining about what you get. You cannot not see the film and complain about how awful it is, when you haven’t seen the film. Because this film—and I echo Alyssa—is a masterpiece.”

Tuesday’s segment comes after criticism from the likes of Elon Musk and Matt Walsh over Oscar-winning Black actress Lupita Nyong’o’s dual casting as Helen of Troy, “the face that launched a thousand ships,” and her sister Clytemnestra. Others have also criticized Nolan for casting Black musician Travis Scott.

Meanwhile, Nolan has dismissed the backlash as “irrelevant” since the movie had not yet been released, noting that it “comes with the territory” of adapting a major piece of IP.

An adaptation of one of the first stories in human history, The Odyssey follows Odysseus (Matt Damon) through the incredible trials and mythical encounters he faces on his decade-long journey home to wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland) after the Trojan War.
