Seattle Seahawks 2026 season streaming guide: Schedule, TV channels for Super Bowl champs

There were differences in the details, of course, but the Seattle Seahawks’ 2013 Super Bowl formula was masterfully repurposed for 2025.

Like the Legion of Boom, last season’s “Dark Side” defense emerged as an absolute game-wrecker. Like the beloved Marshawn Lynch, Jaxon Smith-Njigba commanded attention and warped opponents as a focal point. Like Russell Wilson, Sam Darnold silenced his many skeptics with efficient, gutsy plat at quarterback. Seattle looked unstoppable with the 12th Man on its side, and the Seahawks lifted the Lombardi Trophy in blowout fashion.

The franchise now has glittering championship rings and new ownership. “Hard Knocks” cameras are in the Seahawks’ faces, while targets are squarely on their backs. Seattle replaces Kenneth Walker III with rookie Jadarian Price in the backfield. And Mike Macdonald’s staff swaps Klint Kubiak for Brian Fleury at offensive coordinator.

Seattle opens the 2026 season on Wednesday, Sept. 9, when it hosts a Super Bowl rematch versus the New England Patriots. It also has a Christmas Day special and several primetime spotlights. Below, we list out the broadcast schedule and network details for all 17 regular-season dates. CBS

Main window: Sunday afternoon (in-market fans)

Playoffs: 1 wild-card game, 1 divisional game, AFC Championship Game

Each week, CBS carries games across two Sunday kickoff slots: one at 1 p.m., and another at 4:05 p.m. or the national window at 4:25 p.m. There will be 10 nationwide Sunday doubleheaders this year on CBS. Broadcasts are set by region when there are multiple offerings in a spot.

It’s not a clean split, but CBS is known as the primary home of the AFC. The network’s theme music is a certified slapper.

“The NFL Today” pregame show is going to Let Russ Cook. Wilson joins the desk after announcing his retirement in June. CBS announcers include Jim Nantz and Ian Eagle, while the color commentary rotation stars JJ Watt.

What you’ll need to watch: A pay TV package, or an indoor TV antenna for free over-the-air viewing. Local CBS games also stream on Paramount+.

Fox

Main window: Sunday afternoon (in-market fans)

Playoffs: 1 wild-card game, 1 divisional game, NFC Championship Game

Like CBS, Fox splits Sunday afternoons between early 1 p.m. action and later 4:05/4:25 p.m. matchups. Its centerpiece is branded as “America’s Game of the Week.” Unlike CBS, Fox has a dancing robot named Cleatus. It’s the nominal network for the NFC, and it will air the highly anticipated Christmas night showdown between the Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.

Kevin Burkhardt, Joe Davis and Adam Amin are the lead play-by-play voices. Burkhardt pairs with Tom Brady, while Davis calls games alongside one-time Seahawk Greg Olsen. Amin is partnered with newcomer Drew Brees, who is fresh off his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction. Some Spanish-language broadcasts are available on Fox Deportes.

What you’ll need to watch: A pay TV package, or an antenna for free over-the-air viewing. Local Fox games also stream on Fox One.

NFL Sunday Ticket and NFL RedZone

Main window: Sunday afternoon (out-of-market fans)

These two are the access points for all non-national matchups that aren’t on regional CBS or Fox.

NFL Sunday Ticket has full games. It’s exclusive to YouTube and YouTube TV. Those without a YouTube TV plan can still get NFL Sunday Ticket as a primetime channel through the standard YouTube app.

RedZone is the whip-around program that jumps around the slate to cover scoring drives. This is the place for Scott Hanson, “the witching hour” and chaotic octobox split screens. It can be added to NFL Sunday Ticket, and it’s included on some high-end pay TV sports plans.

RedZone also lives on NFL+ Premium, which can be bundled with the ESPN Unlimited plan.

What you’ll need to watch: An NFL Sunday Ticket subscription through YouTube TV or the YouTube app; NFL RedZone access through select pay TV packages, ESPN Unlimited or NFL+ Premium.

NBC and Peacock

Main window: Sunday night

Playoffs: 2 wild-card games, 1 divisional game

This is the faithful home of “Sunday Night Football” each weekend. And because everything has to be confusing, the NBC lineup opens with the Seahawks-Patriots clash on a Wednesday night. At least SNF has a consistent 8:20 p.m. start time.

Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth are in the booth, with Melissa Stark reporting from the sidelines. Carrie Underwood sings about waiting all day for Sunday night. NBC’s “Football Night in America” pregame show brings on longtime head coach Mike Tomlin. Telemundo has the telecasts in Spanish.

The network has two extra Saturday offerings for Week 17. One is exclusive to Peacock, and both matchups will be announced later in the season. The same goes for NBC’s Week 18 regular-season finale.

“Sunday Night Football” is subject to flex scheduling — games can be swapped in and out of the window twice between Weeks 5-10 and any time from Weeks 11-17. This allows executives to pick games with greater playoff implications, though it leaves the actual ticket holders in a bind.

ABC and ESPN

Main window: Monday night

Playoffs: 1 wild-card game, 1 divisional game, Super Bowl LXI

The Disney networks combine to cover 17 “Monday Night Football” games. Ten of those are on both ABC and ESPN, while another seven — including Seattle’s Week 8 tilt against the Chicago Bears — are exclusive to the latter. The oft-maligned “Monday Night Football” doubleheader is now a thing of the past.

MNF kickoffs have 8:15 p.m. starts, and their schedule flexes can happen any time in Weeks 12-17. The two Saturday ABC/ESPN matchups in Week 18 will be set as the postseason picture sharpens.

ESPN is preparing for its first Super Bowl broadcast ever on Feb. 14, 2027. It will be simulcast on ABC.

Joe Buck handles play-by-play for MNF. He’s joined by analyst Troy Aikman, plus the sideline duo of Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge. Spanish-language airings can be found on ESPN Deportes. For 12 regular-season games and the Super Bowl, ESPN2 offers an alternate “ManningCast,” in which Eli and Peyton Manning watch the games with famous fans. Guests have ranged from Beast Mode himself to Lil Wayne.

Prime Video

Main window: Thursday night

Playoffs: 1 wild-card game

Most weeks begin with “Thursday Night Football,” which kicks off at 8:15 p.m. Those games are behind the Prime paywall, but they’re free over the air in the participants’ home markets. Flex rules around TNF are a bit less hectic, with two allotments between Weeks 13-17.

Thursdays are called by Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit, with Kaylee Hartung on sideline duty. Herbstreit loves dogs; Michaels hates vegetables. Prime has Spanish-language coverage and advanced stat broadcast options within its app. Legion of Boom luminary Richard Sherman is on the pregame, halftime and postgame shows. Fortunately, Michael Crabtree is not.

What you’ll need to watch: Amazon Prime. TNF is also free on Twitch with a registered account.

NFL Network

The league-owned media outlet is now under ESPN’s purview, thanks to a blockbuster deal that gave the NFL a 10 percent ownership stake in “The Worldwide Leader in Sports.” As of July 30, NFL Network is integrated into the ESPN Unlimited plan. It can also be accessed through NFL+ or NFL+ Premium.

NFL Network has five of the international games, plus a pair of Saturday matchups in Week 16 to be revealed at least two weeks prior to Dec. 26. Those two have 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. kickoffs.

What you’ll need to watch: A pay TV package, or access to NFL+, NFL+ Premium or ESPN Unlimited.

Netflix

Remember when Netflix was shipping DVDs in red envelopes? Now, the streaming behemoth continues to expand its relationship with the NFL. It has five regular-season games in the upcoming season, including two of the three Christmas Day marquees. Like TNF on Prime, these Netflix games are over the air in their respective local markets.

As reported by The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand, new Hall of Famer Luke Kuechly has been tapped as Netflix’s top NFL analyst. He and Noah Eagle (son of CBS’ Ian Eagle) are on the call for the Week 1 export at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.

What you’ll need to watch: A Netflix subscription.

It seems to get steeper every year. Watching all 17 regular-season Hawks games in 2026 will go for around $40-$125 per month for those in Seattle’s market, and $115-$200 per month for the out-of-towners. That includes average pay TV plans, NFL Sunday Ticket prices and the cheapest subscription options for Netflix, Peacock and Prime. The estimate also covers potential flexes into one of the streaming exclusives. Mobile viewership through Twitch on Thursday nights can at least save a few bucks.

Jamie Carragher facing bankruptcy petition over unpaid tax claim

Former Liverpool and England player turned pundit Jamie Carragher faces being declared bankrupt over an unpaid tax bill.

Filings seen by the BBC show that a case was filed against James Lee Duncan Carragher on Wednesday.

Carragher and his representatives have been approached for comment.

The ‘bankruptcy petition’ filed by lawyers representing HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) was first reported by City AM.

A spokesperson for HMRC told BBC Sport that it did not comment on individual cases, but a spokesperson added: “We take a supportive approach to dealing with customers who have tax debts and do everything we can to help those who engage with us to get out of debt, such as offering instalment plans.

“We only petition for bankruptcy as a last resort.”

Carragher, who played for Liverpool between 1996 and 2013, regularly appears on Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage, the Stick To Football show and CBS Sports’ Champions League programming.

Jack Crowley: Ireland and Munster fly-half ruled out until new year

Munster have confirmed that Ireland fly-half Jack Crowley is not expected to return from injury until the new year.

Crowley has been sidelined since April after being diagnosed with a blood vessel issue in his leg.

Having sat out Ireland’s Nations Championship games against Australia, Japan and New Zealand last month, the 26-year-old will miss the competition’s second block of games against Argentina, Fiji and South Africa in November.

“Jack Crowley is a very important player for Munster and Ireland with a big future in the game and ensuring he gets back to 100% is the priority,” said Munster head coach Clayton McMillan.

Crowley made his Ireland debut in 2022 and has earned 35 caps, playing every minute of the 2024 title-winning Six Nations campaign.

While Sam Prendergast started the first two games of this year’s Six Nations, Crowley reclaimed the 10 jersey and steered Ireland to wins over England, Wales and Scotland to deliver the Triple Crown.

Jai Arrow to reach 100 South Sydney Rabbitohs games after NRL make one-off rule change

A rugby league player diagnosed with motor neurone disease will be allowed to play the opening seconds of two forthcoming games so he can reach the milestone of 100 matches for his club.

South Sydney Rabbitohs have been given special dispensation to include Jai Arrow in their team despite his retirement after being diagnosed with MND earlier this year.

Australia’s National Rugby League is making an exception to its rules to allow Arrow to take part in the Rabbitohs’ final two fixtures of the regular season.

The 31-year-old, who announced his immediate retirement in May following his diagnosis, will lead the team out in full kit before leaving the field as the Rabbitohs’ first interchange of the match and taking his place on the bench.

The NRL has approved one-off rule changes which will allow the club to have an additional player for team lists and interchanges.

Rabbitohs face the Gold Coast Titans away on Saturday, followed by a home fixture against Sydney Roosters on 4 September.

Arrow played 178 NRL games for the Brisbane Broncos, the Titans and the Rabbitohs across a 10-year career, as well as making 12 State of Origin appearances for Queensland.

He made his debut for the Rabbitohs in 2021 and played in 98 NRL fixtures for the club before his retirement.

Blake Solly, Rabbitohs chief executive officer, said the club was “very grateful” to everyone who helped accommodate the request.

“We believe this will provide great inspiration for everyone watching the game from the stadium or at home, showing that MND will not hold Jai, or anyone else, back from achieving what they want to achieve in life,” Solly added.

“His fight against MND has already been inspirational, and we can’t wait to welcome Jai back on to the field for two more games to inspire everyone connected with rugby league and in society in general.”

MND affects nerves in the brain and spinal cord, which tell your muscles what to do.

This leads them to weaken and stiffen over time and usually affects how you walk, talk, eat and breathe.

Scientists are not sure what causes MND, but it is likely to be a combination of the genes – or biological traits – you get from your parents when you are born, and other lifestyle factors.

Fellow former Queensland player Carl Webb died of MND at 42 in 2023, while former Leeds Rhinos and England half-back Rob Burrow died in 2024, five years after diagnosis.

Former Scotland rugby union international Doddie Weir died in November 2022, and World Cup-winning former England international Lewis Moody was diagnosed in September 2025.
