OceanVeil describes Now That I Can Control Reality With A Mouse Cursor, I’m Gonna Click Away On The Girls! anime’s story:
Takumi, an ordinary otaku, is sitting in IT class when he notices something impossible: his computer mouse cursor has sprung right out of the screen and into the real world! Panicked, he asks his bossy childhood friend Mone if she can see it, but she just brushes him off. Realizing the cursor is completely invisible to others and under his control, Takumi decides to test it out by slipping it between the gaps in Mone’s clothes and clicking away!
As Mone writhes from the unfamiliar sensation, Takumi uncovers a floating real-life context menu featuring incredible controls like “Cut”, “Paste”, “Double Sensitivity Mode”, and even “The Real Deal” (if he can earn enough Click Points!). But keeping his new powers a secret isn’t easy. Between accidental wardrobe malfunctions caused by ‘Cut’, mysterious classmates pursuing him, and art club presidents who might actually see the cursor, Takumi’s clicking spree is about to set off a wild, slapstick chain reaction!

The English dub of Marika’s Love Meter Malfunction anime will debut on OceanVeil on September 3 at 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT).
The English dub cast members are:
The anime streamed early in Japan on AnimeFesta on March 13, with the “on-air version” (as opposed to the uncut version) free to stream. OceanVeil also simultaneously streamed the anime in advance. The anime then ran on the Tokyo MX and BS11 television channels on April 5.
OceanVeil desccribes the anime:
Kanata Kitami is a timid high school loner with a massive, unspoken crush on his super popular childhood friend, Marika Chitose. Desperate for a hint and wishing his life was more like a love simulation game, Kanata makes a wish upon a shooting star to better understand women. The next morning, his wish comes true: floating “love meters” suddenly appear beside every girl he encounters!
There’s just one massive problem: Marika’s love meter is completely broken—sitting in the negatives and having a total meltdown! Convinced that his dream girl secretly despises him despite her sweet demeanor, Kanata completely misinterprets the situation. In reality, Marika’s love for him is so overwhelmingly intense—featuring phone lock screens of him and an entire room secretly plastered with his photos—that her affection literally broke the meter!
As Kanata tries to navigate the glitched UI and the unexpectedly rising love meters of his other female classmates, a wild, heartwarming, and secret-filled romantic comedy unfolds.
The manga launched in 2024, and Suiseisha has been publishing the manga digitally. Suiseisha started publishing the manga in print with the first and second volumes on April 17. The third volume debuted on June 18. WWWave Corporation publishes the manga in English on its Coolmic platform.
