Game Source Entertainment describes the game:
The Seven Mysteries and the Cursed Doll Aya
In order to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of her close friend, the protagonist ‘Seira’, together with the members of the school newspaper society, ‘Tae’ and ‘Hime’, ventures into ‘U School’ late at night, a place shrouded in silence and darkness.
Set against the backdrop of U School, in addition to the ‘Seven Mysteries’ passed down through the ages, a unique and eerie urban legend is earnestly circulated amongst the students: ‘If you perform a certain ritual, the [Cursed Doll, Aya] will appear and curse the object of your hatred to death’.
To verify this urban legend, Seira and her friends performed the forbidden ritual. However, this was not the gateway to the truth, but merely the beginning of a cycle of inescapable nightmares and despair…
The game will be available in Traditional Chinense, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and English subtitles. (Game Source Entertainment also describes the single-player game’s genre as “time loop horror RTA stealth action-adventure.”
Oshikiri launched the Hi Score Girl manga in Square Enix‘s Monthly Big Gangan magazine in 2010, and ended it in September 2018. Square Enix Manga & Books published the manga in English.
