Hotel Inhumans Anime’s 2nd Season Casts Shōya Chiba – News
The official website for the television anime of Ao Tajima‘s Hotel Inhumans manga revealed on Thursday a new cast member for the anime’s second season. The website also began streaming a preview video for the first episode of the new season (episode 14 overall), but it is not currently available in the U.S. Shōya Chiba will play Subaru Yoda, a high school transfer student who joins the piano club:

The anime will debut on October 4 on TV Tokyo at 11:45 p.m. JST. It will then air on BS TV Tokyo on October 5, and on AT-X on October 6.
The new season features returning staff, including director Tetsuro Amino at studio Bridge, and Bridge‘s Isle studio (which Bridge established as a subsidiary in May 2025) is also credited for production. Shoji Yonemura (Parasyte -the maxim-, Wave, Listen to Me!, Shaman King 2021) is again in charge of the series scripts, and Shingo Fujisaki (Let This Grieving Soul Retire!) is again designing the characters. Haru Yamada returns as the sound director and Koharu (Charan-Po-Rantan) is again composing the music.
GAN (Takanori Iwata) performs the second season’s opening theme song “Rasen” (Spiral), and girl group Phantom Siita perform the ending theme song “Sweet Pea.”
Hina Yomiya voices the new character Shiba Kirihara.
The first season debuted on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in July 2025, and ended in September that same year. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired.
The anime stars Yūsuke Kobayashi as Ikurō Hoshi and Hinano Shirahama as Sara Haizaki.
Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga. The company describes the story:
A luxury hotel is required to offer certain amenities. First-rate food, sublime comforts, enchanting entertainment, and…the latest weapons, forged IDs, and body disposal service?! This is a hotel where the guests are professional assassins and its concierges never say no to any request. No matter what their dangerous guests need, the hotel staff are at their service!
Tajima launched the manga in Shogakukan‘s Sunday Webry site in June 2021. The manga ended with its 12th compiled book volume, which shipped in September 2025.

The rankings are computed using the Ranked pairs method,
with the variation that unrated titles are considered as abstentions instead of lower than the rated titles.
This roughly means that if, out of all people who rated both A and B, 60% preferred A, it will be ranked higher than B.
The rankings indicate relative quality (A is preferred to B), not absolute quality (B is good/bad).
While the titles are ranked from ‘best’ to ‘worst’, sometimes the difference between #1 and #10 can be very thin.

It doesn’t mean it’s a bad show, it just means that ANN readers, on average, have preferred the ones above.
If a series has no episode for a given week, we use the rating data for the previous week’s episode in order to compute the weekly ranking.
This is not officially counted as a position in the ranking (it has no impact on the cumulative ranking), but it makes it easier to compare weeks if they each have the same number of series ranked.
It should be noted that long-running series (and sequels) have an advantage in the sense that only people who like the series are still watching it, and they are likely to give each episode a high rating.
But if such a series is going through a low-quality filler arc, the season will get low rankings that are not indicative of the true overall quality of the series.
Conversely, there are fewer people rating the show so it’s less likely to have enough votes to qualify for the ranking.
