Cospa later announced in a press release that the Siga sweatshirt and T-shirts will come in Japanese S to XL sizes and are made of 100% cotton. The Siga sweatshirt is priced at 6,820 yen and the Siga t-shirt at 3,300 yen (about US$43 and US$21, respectively). Both will be available on the online Cospa shop.

The Goodbye, Lara anime series tells a tale like Hans Christian Andersen‘s The Little Mermaid. The story follows a mermaid who makes a forbidden wish to be loved by a human. Following her death, she is reborn 200 years later into modern-day Japan in Lake Biwa, where she learns to adjust in a human world. Lake Biwa is in Shiga Prefecture, which is also where director Takushi Koide‘s hometown is located.

The series started airing on July 5 at 24:30 (effectively July 6 at 12:30 a.m.) on the Tokyo MX channel, before running later that night on BS Asahi and YTV. The anime also ran on AT-X starting on July 6. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. Goodbye, Lara premiered early at the Anime Central convention on May 15.
