Choi Yena is giving her fanlight an upgrade. On October 15, the former IZ*ONE member unveiled a teaser poster for Version 2 of her official light stick, sending her fandom Jigumi into a frenzy.
The teaser reveals a design evolution rather than a total overhaul: the beloved heart-shaped centerpiece from the original stick is back, this time paired with a set of wings — a symbolic touch that fans are reading as Yena’s promise to soar alongside Jigumi wherever her career goes next.

The Original Was Already a Fan Favorite
Yena’s original official light stick was one of the more thoughtfully designed fanlights in K-pop. Fans noted its unique yellow glow, the heart centerpiece bearing an earth pattern — a nod to Jigumi, since “Jigu” means earth — and its Bluetooth connectivity for synced concert lighting.
Version 2 builds on that foundation: the heart stays, the wings are new, and the design language keeps the yellow tones that made the original stand out in a sea of white fanlights.
Pre-Orders Open October 19
Pre-orders for the Version 2 light stick open on October 19 at 3 p.m. KST. The original version has been consistently selling out at merchandise shops, so fans hoping to wave the new winged heart at upcoming fan meets and concerts are advised to set their alarms.
With her string of comebacks and variety appearances keeping her one of the busiest soloists of the IZ*ONE lineage, Yena clearly knows the value of a recognizable crowd — and a fanlight that glows a little brighter.
