Austin Creed, a.k.a. Xavier Woods, is playing coy about a possible DaParty reunion. During a sit-down interview with Fightful’s Phid McAwesome at PAX Australia, the former WWE star hinted that something could be brewing with the beloved gaming subgroup, now that all four members are free agents.

DaParty was a fan-favorite subgroup within Creed’s UpUpDownDown YouTube channel, consisting of Creed, Adam Cole, Claudio Castagnoli, and Tyler Breeze. With none of the four currently signed to WWE, Creed believes the door is open for something new.

“I Will Not Confirm or Deny”

Asked directly about a reunion, Creed smiled and delivered a teasing non-answer. “None of the DaParty members are currently signed with WWE, and that would lead me to believe that there is at least the chance that something will happen, that the chance of something to be created is available,” he said.

He went further into playful territory, adding: “If anyone has been filming anything or if anyone has been creating assets for a new YouTube channel, I will not confirm or deny that. I will not.” The wink-and-nod response has fans convinced that the group is up to something.

Gaming Content in AEW and the UpUpDownDown Legacy

Creed, now in AEW, also discussed his hopes of doing something with video games in his new home. But he stressed that building rapport with the locker room comes first, noting that UpUpDownDown worked in WWE because he had known many of the people involved for six, eight, or even 12 years, going back to developmental and the independent scene.

“Being in the AEW locker room and being able to build these relationships with people that I don’t have them with, like the newer guys that I’m meeting, is a really cool process,” Creed said. “Through that process, I would hope that maybe, maybe there’d be a chance to do something with video games. But that rapport with the locker room is first and foremost the most important thing for me.”

WWE still owns the UpUpDownDown channel, which has not been updated in five to six months. Whether DaParty reunites on a brand-new channel or Creed launches something entirely new in AEW, gaming fans have plenty of reason to keep watching.
