Exodus Pro Heat Of The Moment Results (10/16): LJ Cleary Retains, Women's Title Descends Into Chaos
WWE

Exodus Pro Wrestling rolled into Collision Bend Brewery in Euclid, Ohio on October 16 for Heat of the Moment, and the night delivered everything indie wrestling fans love: title defenses, a chaotic women’s title finish, and a massive ten-man Cleveland Cup showdown. LJ Cleary retained the Irish Junior Heavyweight Championship, while the Exodus Pro Women’s Championship ended in a double disqualification that left the title’s future in limbo.

Opening Action Sets the Tone

The show opened with Dante Casanova defeating Devious Cass, getting the Euclid crowd warmed up before The Fun Police took down The Exobros — Conner Knox and Johnny Mahalo — in tag team action. From there, the championship stakes ramped up quickly.

The Irish Junior Heavyweight Championship was on the line as LJ Cleary defended against Ashton Day. Cleary walked out still champion, successfully retaining his title and continuing his reign as one of the division’s standard-bearers.

Cowpoke Paul Survives a Hoe Down

The Crown Royal Championship was defended in the only way it could be — a Cowpoke Paul Hoe Down. Champion Cowpoke Paul faced off against both Handsome Harley T. Morris and Gunner Cain in the multi-man spectacle, and somehow, through all the chaos, Cowpoke Paul retained his title. The Crown Royal Championship remains around his waist, and the Hoe Down remains one of the most entertaining gimmick matches on the indie scene.

Women’s Title Ends in Pure Chaos

The Exodus Pro Women’s Championship match between J-Rod and Marti Belle ended in the most dramatic fashion possible: a double disqualification after both wrestlers took out the special guest referee, Scotti Sosa. With neither woman able to claim a clean win, the title picture is now completely up in the air.

In a surprising twist, Scotti Sosa announced she is taking emergency custodial authority of the title for its protection — essentially seizing the championship to keep it safe amid the chaos. What happens next with the women’s title is anyone’s guess, but it is safe to say this story is far from over.

Cleveland Cup: Team Cleveland Stands Tall

The main event saw the annual Cleveland Cup contested as a massive ten-man tag team war. Team Cleveland — EC3, Joshua Bishop, Atticus Cogar, Otis Cogar and Christian Napiar — battled Team Northeast — TJ Crawford, Love Doug, Anthony Greene, Richard Holliday and Hayden Backlund — in a match built on pure regional pride.

When the dust settled, Team Cleveland won, with Joshua Bishop and Christian Napiar surviving as the sole survivors. The hometown heroes gave the Euclid crowd the ending they wanted, closing out Heat of the Moment on a high note.
