Mysterious ‘Toni Storm Tapes’ Discovered At AEW WrestleDream

A mysterious package containing five analog cassettes — dubbed the “Toni Storm Tapes” — has been discovered at AEW WrestleDream in Florida, deepening the ongoing mystery of what happened to the former AEW Women’s World Champion. Content creator Astrid Pizzaro broke down the tapes’ contents on October 18.

The discovery is the latest twist in one of wrestling’s most intriguing storylines. Since March 18, 2026, no one has seen or heard from Toni Storm in AEW.

The Mystery Deepens

According to Pizzaro’s recap, last Wednesday a package arrived at the AEW office in Jacksonville, Florida — a brown paper package tied up with string, with no return address. Inside: five analog cassettes.

The tapes are narrated by Renee Paquette and feature Toni herself — giving advice, having conversations, and living her day-to-day life. What the tapes mean, and who sent them, remains unknown.

Toni’s “Murder”

Storm last wrestled at AEW Revolution, where she defeated Marina Shafir. On the following episode of Dynamite, it was revealed that Toni had been “murdered” in a shocking storyline development.

While an investigation initially followed, the case has since gone cold — and the tapes’ arrival suggests the mystery is far from over. AEW boss Tony Khan has previously addressed questions about a potential Toni Storm return, and fans are now speculating the tapes could be the first breadcrumb leading back to the “Timeless One.”

Is this the beginning of Toni Storm’s comeback? For now, the tapes raise more questions than answers — exactly as AEW intended.
