The story follows six applicants who survive odds of 5,000 to 1 to reach the final round of interviews at a global IT company in the middle of an intensely competitive job market. But when mysterious envelopes containing exposés about each candidate appear at the interview venue, suspicion replaces teamwork and the six find themselves locked in a psychological battle.
A High-Stakes Interview With a Twist
Instead of a normal interview, the final round becomes a two-hour ordeal: five rounds of public voting to select a single winner. As hidden secrets come to light one by one, the trust between the seemingly perfect team collapses, and the candidates turn on each other.
The newly released posters feature the ID photos of all six applicants, with strips of tape across their mouths bearing each person’s name and one sentence. Key details have been deliberately obscured, hinting at the secrets they are desperate to keep. The chilling tagline “Everyone is lying” foreshadows the revelations waiting to unfold.
Meet the Six Applicants
Each poster spotlights a character with a distinct personality. Cho Yi Hyun plays Moon Hye In, an observant candidate who calmly reads the room. Kim Jae Won takes on Han Jin Woo, an open-minded idealist, while Shin Seung Ho portrays Baek Seung Bin, an action-driven leader whose grit was forged through athletic training.
Kang You Seok plays Lee Hee Chan, an easygoing mediator, and Kwak Dong Yeon is Jeon Yo Han, a strategist whose true intentions are impossible to read. Bae Gang Hee rounds out the cast as Cha Joo Won, a perfectionist with an impeccable résumé.
With its cutthroat job-market premise and locked-room tension, “Final Interview” is shaping up as one of the most intriguing Korean thrillers on the way. A release date is yet to be confirmed, but the film’s ensemble cast alone makes it one to watch.
