ONE OR EIGHT to Rock Manila on October 23, 2026: Black Clover’s Ending Theme Group Live in the Philippines

Rising Japanese boy group ONE OR EIGHT is bringing their momentum to Manila with the ONE OR EIGHT Special SHOW CASE 2026 in ASIA -V8-, set for October 23, 2026 at Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier. Anime fans will recognize the eight-member group: they performed the ending theme for the second season of Black Clover, and their new single ties directly back to Asta’s story.

The new single marks the group’s first Japanese-language song. Inspired by protagonist Asta’s journey of moving forward despite being born without magic, the track turns that struggle into a message about choosing your own path, finding strength in the people beside you, and continuing even when the road gets rough. Ticket sales are currently ongoing via Ticketmaster and the SOZO Live website.

Who Are ONE OR EIGHT? Inside the Group’s Rise

ONE OR EIGHT comprises eight members: MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA, and YUGA. The group’s name is derived from the Japanese idiom “ichi ka bachi ka,” which expresses the idea of taking an all-or-nothing gamble. Together with their tagline “BET ON YOURSELF,” the name reflects the members’ determination to pursue their dreams and take their music to audiences around the world.

Since debuting in August 2024, ONE OR EIGHT have become one of Japan’s emerging global acts. Their track “TOKYO DRIFT” generated more than 200,000 pieces of user-generated content on TikTok and over 300 million views, entered the Mediabase Top 40, and set a record for the most chart entries by a Japanese boy group. They were named one of Nikkei Entertainment!’s 100 New Leading Artists, won Upcoming Dance & Vocal Group at the MTV VMAJ 2025 in Japan, and were named New Artist of the Year at the 2025 Music Awards organized by China’s NetEase.

New EP EN-GiNE and the Manila Showcase Details

Ahead of their Southeast Asia showcases, the group will open a new chapter with their first EP “EN-GiNE” on September 16, 2026. The title combines the Japanese word “EN” (connection and fate) with “GENE,” symbolizing the new driving force created through the relationships the members have built with one another and with fans around the world.

Following “YANKEE SQUAT,” the group recently released “INVINCIBLE,” the second single dedicated to their fans known as 1DERZ. The track celebrates the trust, gratitude, and connection between ONE OR EIGHT and their supporters since their debut. The group has also worked with internationally acclaimed creators including Ryan Tedder, David Stewart, and Big Sean, expanding their sound to connect Japanese music with a global audience.

The Manila showcase is organized by SOZO, the company behind Anime Festival Asia (AFA), which has also produced major live events for artists including Ado, Eve, RADWIMPS, YOASOBI, and Yuuri. A member introduction, tour promo, snack challenge, merchandise, and event guide have also been released for the event.
