Avatar: Seven Havens Episodes 7-9 Recap: Korra and Asami Return in the Show’s First Two-Part Episode

Avatar: Seven Havens just delivered its wildest trio of episodes yet. IGN’s Alex Zalben, in a full-spoiler review posted October 23, 2026, says Episodes 7-9 are a “thrilling roller-coaster ride” that pairs huge mythology additions with some of the series’ funniest moments so far.

The headline news: the show’s first two-part episode has arrived, and with it the return of Korra and Asami — a moment that sent fans into overdrive. After last week’s episodes settled into a comfortable rhythm, this batch “literally and figuratively tossed the table,” according to the review.

Avatar Seven Havens Episodes 7-9: Envoys, the Faceless and the Red Diamond Anomaly

At the heart of the season is a theme that mirrors our own world: fear of the other, and how societies in survival mode choose isolation over cooperation. Envoys from the other Havens visit Ellora, the Haven we’ve spent the season with, and the distrust plays out in stark terms — the other Havens need food, Ellora wants benders to protect it from the red diamond Anomaly that keeps growing and attacking the city.

The review notes the politics are deliberately simplified for a kids’ cartoon — no complicated trade deals here — but the thrust lands: the Havens would be stronger together, yet pride, tradition and fear keep them apart. Meanwhile, the Faceless raiders lurk at the edges, and the Avatar herself is still the ostensible villain in the public imagination, with people believing Korra caused the Cataclysm that wrecked the world hundreds of years ago.

What Makes Seven Havens’ Latest Episodes Stand Out

What elevates these three episodes, per IGN, is the balance: big lore swings and emotional storytelling sit alongside the funniest material the series has attempted. The ongoing mysteries keep deepening while the comedy lands effortlessly — a combination that has made Seven Havens one of the most talked-about animated series of the year.
