Gabe Kidd Confronts Clark Connors & David Finlay at PRODUCE Hell Comes To Dogtown, One Day After AEW Dynamite Betrayal

Even outside of AEW, Gabe Kidd is not on good terms with Clark Connors and David Finlay. The former trio’s split went from storyline to reality on Thursday, October 22, when Kidd confronted his old partners at PRODUCE’s Hell Comes To Dogtown event in Los Angeles, California.

The irony was thick: Hell Comes To Dogtown was co-promoted by Kidd, Connors and Finlay themselves. But the alliance had died just one day earlier, when Connors and Finlay attacked Kidd on AEW Dynamite and aligned with the Bang Bang Gang. With the betrayal less than 24 hours old, Kidd wasted no time, getting into a shouting match with his former teammates at the PRODUCE show — an incident that quickly spread across social media.

On the in-ring side, Kidd wrestled Karl Fredericks at the event, while Connors and Finlay teamed up to take on Cowboy Way (1 Called Manders and Thomas Shire).

A breakup less than a day old

The timing made the confrontation unavoidable. The trio had been promoting the show together as a unit, but their on-screen partnership shattered on Wednesday’s Dynamite when Connors and Finlay turned on Kidd and sided with the Bang Bang Gang. Walking into a co-promoted event together the very next day was always going to be volatile — and Kidd made sure the tension spilled out in front of the Los Angeles crowd.

With the breakup this fresh, the bad blood between Kidd and The Dogs is clearly far from settled. Expect this rivalry to play out across both AEW television and the independent scene in the weeks ahead.
