Clark Connors and David Finlay just flipped the script on this week’s AEW Dynamite. The Dogs turned on Gabe Kidd — and by the end of the night, they were standing side by side with the Bang Bang Gang. The alliance between The Dogs and The Death Riders is officially over.

How the turn went down
The chaos started after Jon Moxley beat Roderick Strong in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match. With the dust barely settled, Connors and Finlay stormed the ring to further damage Strong. Moxley stepped in and shut the attack down — until Connors and Finlay jumped him from behind.
That’s when Kidd hit the ring to confront The Dogs, only to get attacked as well. Jay White, Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly raced out to run off the attackers, but White had other plans — he dropped Cassidy with his Blade Runner finisher. The rest of the Bang Bang Gang then flooded the ring to join the assault on the Death Riders and Conglomeration.
When the segment ended, Connors and Finlay were seemingly aligned with the Bang Bang Gang — a new power bloc with the Death Riders in its sights.
What this sets up
This is a major realignment of AEW’s faction warfare. The Dogs spent weeks running alongside the Death Riders; now they’re out for themselves — or, more accurately, alongside White’s crew. With Continental Championship implications already in play and White’s crew firing on the Conglomeration, the next few weeks of Dynamite are going to be explosive.
