100 Days of Deception Hits Series-High 9.5% Ratings as Final Table Climbs in Episode 2

100 Days of Deception has just delivered its biggest night yet. The tvN drama soared to a series-high nationwide rating of 9.5 percent on October 25, taking first place in its time slot across all channels, according to Nielsen Korea.

The jump is the real story here. The latest episode climbed a full 3 percentage points from the night before, when the drama earned a nationwide average of 6.5 percent. A leap of that size in a single night is rare in the current ratings landscape, and it suggests the drama is not just holding its audience — it is actively winning new viewers as its story heats up.

100 Days of Deception Ratings Surge Explained

Finishing first in its time slot across all channels is a significant milestone for any cable drama. Unlike the major free-to-air networks, cable channels like tvN start from a smaller base audience, which makes a 9.5 percent nationwide average an especially strong result. It puts 100 Days of Deception firmly in the conversation as one of the standout performers of the current Sunday lineup.

The timing of the surge matters too. Dramas often see their ratings climb as storylines reach turning points and word of mouth spreads, and a three-point overnight jump points to exactly that kind of momentum. Viewers who may have been catching up or waiting for reviews appear to be joining the live broadcast in growing numbers.

Final Table Rises as Sunday Dramas Climb

100 Days of Deception was not the only drama moving in the right direction. JTBC’s new drama Final Table climbed to an average nationwide rating of 2.4 percent for its second episode, building on its premiere and showing early signs of growth as audiences settle into its story.

Elsewhere on Sunday, KBS 2TV’s A Love Other Than Yours, which has just two episodes left, rose slightly to an average nationwide rating of 1.9 percent ahead of its final week. Channel A’s Dive into You, which also has just one week left in its run, similarly climbed slightly to 1.3 percent.

Despite all the upward movement, one show still ruled the night overall. KBS 2TV’s Love on the Menu remained the most-watched show of Sunday overall with an average nationwide rating of 16.3 percent, a reminder of just how dominant the weekend’s biggest free-to-air hit remains.

Taken together, the Sunday numbers paint a healthy picture for Korean drama fans: a cable hit breaking its own record, a new JTBC drama finding its footing, and two closing dramas enjoying a late lift before their finales. If 100 Days of Deception can hold anywhere near its new high, its next episodes could climb even further.
