Brie Bella says wealth does not erase personal struggles, and she is tired of people acting like it does. The WWE Hall of Famer spoke out about the way success changes how others judge her problems, arguing that money and fame do not make life’s difficulties disappear.

The topic came up on The Nikki & Brie Show, where Brie and her sister Nikki were talking with Victoria Arlen about success and the pressure that can come with it. Brie said she constantly sees the same reaction online, where people dismiss what she shares simply because she is wealthy.
“Because I think sometimes, you know, you’ll see on social media, people are like, ‘Oh, what do you know? You’re rich.’ And I’m like, it wasn’t about that,” Brie said. “I’m telling you, I can also have my things. And it doesn’t matter.”
Brie Bella on Fame, Jealousy and Loneliness
For Brie, the issue runs deeper than social media comments. She said reaching a certain level of success can completely change how people treat you, with some feeling free to throw negativity your way or turn their backs on you once you make it.
The conversation also touched on something darker: the danger of having people around you who do not just admire your success, but actually want your life. Brie recalled being warned that this is when things get truly frightening, because it can leave you feeling completely alone.
“One of the scariest things are when you have people that are around you that want to be you or your life,” she said. “And that’s when it gets really scary. Then you just really realize how alone you are.”
Why Brie Bella’s Comments Hit a Nerve
Brie’s remarks highlight a side of fame fans rarely consider. While success brings money and recognition, it can also strain relationships and invite jealousy, making personal struggles harder to share rather than easier.
Her message is simple: having money does not mean having no problems. Everyone carries their own battles, no matter what their bank account or public image suggests.
