The event, highlighted in a sponsored IGN feature, gives players seven free responses in each eligible OOC Original story they have not chatted with before, with no cap on how many eligible stories they can try. Players can also earn double check-in credits during October 25 to 31.

OOC is an interactive storytelling and roleplaying app that lets users step into the role of the protagonist and shape how a story unfolds. Rather than simply watching a story play out, players type choices and custom prompts that can change twists, character relationships and even outcomes, including in horror stories where the player’s decisions can determine who comes out on top.

OOC Halloween Event Rewards and How the App Works

Each story in OOC comes with a preset world, lore, characters and starting point, but the direction of the tale depends on what the player types. Characters remember previous conversations and decisions, allowing relationships to develop naturally over time, while scenes are illustrated with images that reflect how events play out. Every playthrough is exclusive to that player.

The app’s library includes OOC Originals created by the app itself, alongside stories created by community members, a feature players can also try themselves. According to the feature, there are currently more than 52,000 stories and more than 58,000 characters to interact with across the platform.

For players curious about interactive anime-style storytelling, the Halloween event is positioned as a low-risk entry point, with the free responses letting newcomers sample multiple original stories before committing further. The double check-in credits run through October 31, giving players the rest of Halloween week to take advantage of the bonus.
